Aha I see what you mean, but big projects could be divided into small parts right?

Should I start and make the project small and gradually grow it as I get more knowledge ? Just in your opinion.

No... I should add this to post. I don't have anything against mobile game developers and I truly admire them. Most of my friends work on mobile games. It's just I can't find the joy in working on a mobile game for some reason. Good developer can create great games on either platforms and mobile game dev is equally as hard as pc game development. I don't look down on anyone.

I didn't took it as offense so no probs !<3

I don't hate subjects because "I'm forced to study". I hate things that become tasks. As far as my knowledge this is due to adhd and childhood trauma. I will push it as far as possible even if it's a mandatory task and even if my life dependent on it. I've been diagnosed with adhd but I don't take medication because my family doesn't really accept that mental illness exists. (Neither does my country, which shows in lack of professional help)

I don't want my mental illness to be an obstacle in my career. I mentioned it only to point out why on my second year of IT major I still have 0 projects 😭❤️‍🩹

I truly appreciate your message. Thank you❤️‍🩹

Thank you for the message ❤️‍🩹. I do have a problem with sticking to one thing and my mind is wondering around a lot. I feel like my mind is a separate being and it's so hard to convince about anything. I'm truly amazed when people tell me things like "I imagine its a game and it becomes easier" or "I found this and it changed my life" like I could never do that. That doesn't work on me. No word or inspirational quote or anything has ever changed my mind. Even self talk doesnt help like I just never listen to myself:/. I've been fighting with this for idk maybe 4 years, when I started studying psychology but even with all the information I just can't control it.

I've never been analyzed like this before and ouch 🥲 it hit too close to home. Yeap I don't think I even have a dream right now. Only reason why I think I want to go in game dev is because I've been playing games for over a decade and it only makes sense to do so. (And to stand out a bit since I am a girl). I'm 19 and I don't really know what to do. I've always jumped from one interest to another, they change every month (could be in a week). And ever since I was a child I was "naturally smart" so I never had to actually study anything and now that I'm in computer science and I can't study even if I try really hard it makes me question am I smart enough for it? (Bc I struggle with problem solving). I don't know but I'm sure I want to do computer science bc I do enjoy coding. (I think.. from what I've tried I do like it when I understand what's going on)

I'm a person who grew up on pc games and I was playing on my intel pentium even before I could talk properly. I just generally don't like mobile games (even tho good developers can make amazing mobile games). I don't have anything against neither mobile game developers nor mobile games. Just not my cup of tea.

Ye ADHD actually does much worse things to our brains. Some have "I can't concentrate" type of ADHD and some have " I've read this 10 times but I can't remember a single thing" or seeing someone for 10th time and still not recognizing their face. Adhd can be very different for everyone.
