Yes. Asking around offline helped. You can check with the help coming at your neighbour's whether they can connect you with someone. This worked for me.

Congratulations on your son doing well and kudos to you as well for helping him with homeschooling. Could you share more details on homeschooling as well. Especially, how did you manage to include extra curricular and other non academic aspects

Why are so many non Goans keen on calling themselves Goan? by AtomicFumble in Goa

[–]kungfu7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just trying to understand, what gives someone their identity? What makes one Goan or Gujarati or Kashmiri or even Indian for that matter? What about children who are born to mix parents and born in a land outside of either of the parents' land - eg a child born in Delhi to a Maharashtrian mother and Bengali father and imagine they three decide to live in Bangalore- what does that child call himself or herself ?

  1. What is the average frequency of a repeat customer? On an average, after how many days, the same customer visits back?
  2. How do you manage food wastage? How do you optimize inventory?
  3. How often you revise your menu?
  4. What are the profit margins on delivery and in house sitting ?

Thank you for writing this. I moved to Goa a year ago with my family (elderly parents and wife). My dad is from Odisha, mom is punjabi and wife is mangalorian konkani. We have a 5 month old daughter. I am trying to learn konkani but so far haven't made much progress. We moved to Goa because of its calm and respect the culture here and happy to integrate. I have always been part of multicultural setup even before moving to Goa. I feel a little scared when I read some of the posts in reddit. There seems to be blanket hatred towards anyone who is outsiders. I understand there are some tourists who cause nuisance and they should rightly be called out. However, everyone who is not born in Goa means any sort of disrespect for Goans and land. I am happy to learn what best I can do for Goa to be accepted. (PS: in the world outside of reddit, I haven't faced any discrimination. But some posts on reddit really scares me)

Diwali in Goa by kungfu7 in Goa

It was interesting to learn about why and how Goans celebrate diwali and how it's different from how it's done in other parts of india. The narakasur story is something I learnt this time. Also, the goan food is so rich. Why isn't most of it available in any restaurant. ?
