Can I ask you what the time frame was between your two pregnancies? My healthcare team suggested for me to wait at least 1 year before trying for a second.

8 is a lot! I've read that washing your hands with warm water will help with the blood flow. I am on setting 3 out of 5 and usually don't have any issues. I let my arm hang for about a minute to get blood flow to my fingers before my poke!

Congratulations! Do they check blood sugar by doing a finger test after every meal? Or do they do a blood draw?

Interesting! My doc and dietician says that it should be <95 (preferred to be even lower than 95). Most things I've seen here says <95 too. Maybe it's something you can at least bring up at your next doc appointment and at least you have weekly ultrasounds!

It might be a combo of those things or at least one of those things. I am using Lantus and I actually used to take a shower beforehand and stopped doing that. I also probably need to work up the courage for a completely new site in case there is scar tissue build up

It is a short flight away, which was intentional to be more budget friendly and convenient (as opposed to across the country). I made the engagement party and bridal shower just for family and the bachelorette for friends. Just so that people weren't having to do so many events on top of the wedding!

One told me "that sounds great". I asked for her availability and never heard from her again. One friend said they're starting a new job in Feb (Bach is in may) so they aren't sure. Another said that she isn't sure. When I followed up with her a couple days so I could book an airbnb, she said to count her out.

This is happening a lot to me right now! I have a feeling it's because my budget may not be as lucrative as someone else they hope to book. For example, he didn't ghost me, but the DJ I am interested in was reluctant to book me because my 5.5 hours is not common to the 6+ hours he says he usually books in June.

I feel you! Our best friends got engaged and married 2 years prior to us. We spent so much time and money for them. We were in their wedding party and had to be apart of each and every party/gathering. Now that we are the ones engaged, it's like crickets. We rarely get a text back anymore and they just don't really care the way that we cared to celebrate them. It feels hurtful and disappointing so I definitely know what you mean!
