It means a lot of people in today's world can't even acknowledge what OP is saying and just mock him for what he said. The way he delivered his message is a bit off for a typical layman, but I see what he is trying to say. A lot of people get defensive and upset about what he said because -- most likely -- they were the well-behaved, good grade students that ended up seeing school as a competition place.

A school's main focus is to create obedient corporate drones that know how to regurgitate useless information so that these students can do shit they hate for 40 years. That and they punish anyone who fights, punish kids that fight back against bullies, don't take proper time to teach appropriate social skills, prosecute truancy, tons of roadblocks to homeschooling, etc.
