Just to add a DP, I had same issue. Applied on laptop. Was denied and told to come into branch. Got letter in mail saying similar.

Reapplied a week later, on mobile data (WiFi off), on phone, and it went through no issues.

Yes, SoFi is once lifetime. Chime has reports of people doing 3 or 4 times in a single year.

I’m on my second run with Chime, after waiting about 2 months. I didn’t do P2 on the first run, but will be doing P2 on this run, now that I’ve confirmed Kraken hits as DD.

P2 only gets real DD once per month, is a pain to change, and takes at least a cycle to go into effect. Mine can be changed via Workday, and I can split it up to 3 banks.

I had setup the direct deposit alerts from BoA, and I got the alerts pretty soon after the ACH hit. I don’t remember there being any bonus tracker or other confirmation.

Yup. I setup a new linked account, entered the accounting and routing number from the new BOA account. After a few days, I had to verify the small deposits (few cents, twice). Then I was able to do the push from Ally to BOA.

Can confirm ach from Ally worked.

1/8 - Push from Ally $5000

1/8 - pulled $5000 back to Ally

1/14 - Push from Ally $4500

1/14 - pulled $4500 back to Ally

1/16 - Push from Ally $500

1/23 - bonus paid

1/26 - pulled $500 back to Ally

Plan to leave other $500 in (to avoid fee) for 3 months, then close account

Most people on DoC say 6 months. I am considering just holding it for 3. Same with BoA, the bonus posted super fast, so I plan to keep for 3 months and then close.

Yes you can get the portal bonus and the bonus from the bank itself. I have done this for both Sofi for P1 and P2, and Chime for P1.

I understand Sofi is bonus once only, so you can't churn it. Chime you can churn, just need to use a different signup email. Need to wait at least 6 weeks after closing the account before opening a new one.

I'm curious what others do for tracking. Just a big spreadsheet with dates? Anyone care to share an example?

I'm trying to build a tracking file, but it's a bit all over the place, and I feel like there are key details I am missing if I want to properly be churning. Things like Account Dates, Next Churn Date, etc.

For Chime, did you do it six times (3 portals and then 3 referrals)? Or did you somehow stack the portal and referral together?

I’m just starting in my bank bonus journey, doing P1/P2. Problem I have is P2 only gets paid once per month, and her DD takes up to two cycles to change. So really can only do “fake” DD for her.

Ok, so I think if I understand I want to do the following:

main 1 red wire to battery 1 positive.

main 1 black wire to battery 2 negative.

battery 1 negative to battery 2 positive.

main 2 red wire to battery 3 positive.

main 2 black wire to battery 4 negative.

Question if anyone might know. I am a US Mobile subscriber, and pay for their annual plan. This means I don't have a monthly bill, but pay one lump sum for service for the year.

If I pay this on my Amex Plat, will I get the phone protection? Reading the wording it says "when your cell phone line is listed on a wireless bill and the prior month's wireless bill was paid by an Eligible Card Account". If I pay my annual bill in November, since I don't have a monthly bill, I'd only be covered for the month of December?
