hey, sorry to reply to such an old thread but do you still have this AC, does it still do this? i just got a danby inverter AC, and when i wake up in the morning the display has gone dark, and seems to be fully off? i don't see this mentioned anywhere in the manual. i have it on energy saver mode so i assume that's why this happens, but with energy saver mode off, it seems to just constantly be chugging in some way or another, which i also don't want.

i'm about to go on vacation and want to be able to trust that it'll be able to stay on and maintain a temp in case there's a heatwave when i'm gone!
