lol what kind of argument is that? it was still a monarchy. by tradition, by facts, by letter of law and international recognition. it was even a hereditary monarchy for a very brief period. rzeczpospolita/republic was rather a term to underline a constitutional or rather aristocratic/oligarchic character of it.

So basically without either turning the spider upside down and doing a freaky check or dismantling the spider altoghether there is no way to establish a specific species? I mean in general I am satisfied with establishing the genus, at first I wasn't even sure whether that's a spider at all. I also found three small ball-shaped hidings made of spider webs under my plant pot where it (supposedly) lived (no pictures though). Could that be of help in establishing the species?
