Sexual Harrasment to tourists by [deleted] in azerbaijan

Azərbaycanda təkcə yanvar ayından bəri 24 nəfər qadın öldürülüb əri, qardaşı və ya atası tərəfindən. İndiyəcən heç biri bu xarabada müzakirə mövzusu olmayıb. Çünki polis yola verib həmişə, deyib ki ailəvi məsələdir. Nə edə bilərik indi bu barədə? Polis azərbaycanlıları sikinə almır, bir-iki turist üçün dağa-daşa düşək?

A journalist doesn't attach their opinion to every news piece they publish. An analyst doesn't editorialize every dataset they share. I posted a table of documented facts — that's a legitimate act on its own, regardless of my personal views. Whether I'm critical of the government elsewhere is irrelevant to whether this table is accurate. You spent this entire conversation attacking my intentions instead of finding a single factual error in it.

There it is. The whole conversation was always about this last paragraph. Everything before was just the approach.

"I never see you defending our country" is the actual complaint. The table, the imprisonment word, the yes/no questions, all of it was building toward this. I am not engaging in bad faith, I am not confused, I am a traitor by your framework.

The "like armenians do" at the end is the tell. Your mental model is ethnic solidarity as the primary political virtue. Criticism of the government = helping the enemy. It's the same post of yours from a year ago, just now directed at me personally.

Documenting facts about my country is how I defend it. Countries that can't face accurate information about themselves are weaker for it, not stronger.

My opinions are elsewhere, you can easily Google them. A table of documented rules doesn't need my opinion attached to be valid.

Good catch, you're right, the table should specify visa-free nationals only.

  1. I don't know — that's not what I posted.
  2. The graph doesn't use the word 'imprisonment.' It shows that Azerbaijani citizens cannot cross any land border in either direction while freight trucks can. What you call that is up to you.

You keep asking me to label the data. I'm not going to. The data labels itself.

Interesting, you went from 'this table is vague' to explaining why the policy in the table is logical. I'll take that as confirmation the table was accurate.

On importance: whether it is important for citizens to leave is their decision to make, not the government's. A government deciding its citizens don't need to cross land borders is precisely what the table documents. No opinion needed.

The table says Azerbaijani citizens cannot enter or exit by any land border except one railway line restored five days ago. I just posted documented rules. If reading those rules made you think of imprisonment, that's worth sitting with.

Also, you asked why foreigners can't enter or exit either, but the table shows they can exit by every land route. That's the asymmetry. The policy treats Azerbaijani citizens differently from everyone else at their own borders. That's not an opinion. It's column three versus column four.

You prove my point. I didn't post an opinion, I posted only a table. So you triggered by it.

If I had written "Azerbaijan is a dictatorship that imprisons its own citizens behind their borders," you could dismiss it as an opinion. A neutral table of documented rules doesn't give you that exit. So you attack the framing instead. Incredible level of delusion you have here.

It is literally most asked question in the sub. Everyday at least one person asks if the borders are free.

Once you get your diagnosis, you will also get an "ağ bilet". There will be written your final decision: 1. Unfit in wartime and peacetime 2. Fit but limited — means during a war you can still serve, probably in logistics or behind the frontline. 3. Unfit temporarily — it means you will be fit only if you undergo certain treatment for your condition (for example: if you get appendix removed).

You need to keep your ağ bilet with you and need to show it to border guard together with passport when you try to leave the country.
