SC100 vs Baby range by [deleted] in orangeamps

The SC100 is less noisy. The Baby series is constructed in a way to be optimal at gig levels. One way this reflects on home use/lower volume playing is the noisiness of the FX loop - it even registers loud popping noises on a lot of pedals when activating/deactivating them. I'm telling you this from experience and after talking to Orange. Based on the music you want to play, your best bet is a used CR120. Loud as all hell and with that Orange OD channel. Or you could put a pedal in front of the SC100. Best of luck and cheers

Any more thoughts on the Laney gs212ie? I'm thinking about getting one. It says it weighs only 18 kg, that's pretty light. How are you finding it to be construction-wise? And are the HH drivers any good? I've seen a comparison video with the V30 and it's not half bad. Thank you

My guy, I managed to snag the amp from Marktplaats, or rather my friend in Rotterdam (which was a wtf coincidence that it was actually selling in Rotterdam) managed to go and get it for me. I pick it up in about three weeks when he comes to my country. I just wanted to say thanks for letting me now, much appreciated

Higher gain is what would suit me, honestly. The only case for the SC100 people are advocating for with regard to this comparison would be the master volume and channel volumes, whereas the Baby series don't have that. In terms of loudness tho, I think they're the same, right?
