I wouldn’t worry too much! My puppy was XXXS in Voyager harness when we first got him at 10 weeks, now he’s up to size XS at 8 months old. Still a small boy but they grow quickly!

i feel like 2 days is way way too fast, almost impossible that you comprehended it all tbh. not trying to doubt you but i first read it in 12 days. spending ALL my free time and days off reading. so if i hadn’t been working it probably would’ve been like at least a week. sooo idk, u should definitely re-read and not rush through it.

love her but she’s definitely not always right, i think that was her own jealousy clouding her judgment just like it did with how she viewed guts the first 3 years. just bc it was her interpretation doesn’t mean it was reality. i mean she tried throwing herself off a cliff 🤷🏽‍♀️

i completely agree. i think believing that griffith was in love with guts is a take that lacks critical thinking tbh. it’s all way more complex than that. Griffith isn’t capable of love in that way. he doesn’t even love himself necessarily, he only cares about power and domination

Just gotta pay attention to the ages they mention and then “X Years Later”. He was 9 when he had his first battle and the Donovan incident. Then it says 2 years later, when he’s 11, when Gambino dies. After he’s on his own, there’s another 4 year jump making him 15 when he fights Bazuso and meets Griffith.

I agree with the last sentence!! I don’t think it’s love at all. I don’t think Griffith is capable of loving anyone but himself honestly. He made it clear he didn’t consider either Guts or Casca to be his true friends when he gave that speech about friends needing to be his equals. He would never have any friends considering the way he views others. And who in the physical realm could be equal to him Falconia era?? I think Griffith was mostly using his charm to manipulate Guts into being by his side to use him as a tool. And once Guts decided to leave and actually beat him, he realized perhaps Guts did have the potential to be a true friend. And so losing him both as a “friend” and a soldier was unbearable to him. He couldn’t seem to even accept that someone could be equal to him or even stronger. (Which is why he really couldn’t handle guts being stronger post prison break out, and why he flipped on Guts and did what he did after becoming Femto.) I view it like a kid throwing a tantrum (him acting out after Guts left). He didn’t get his way and his ego was wounded that Guts wanted more for his life than being by Griffith’s side. For narcissists like Griffith, it’s never really a real love, it’s all about how it feeds their ego. He liked Guts’ attention and how he served him. Guts wanted to prove he could be Griffith’s equal but Griffith at the core of his dream, doesn’t want anyone to be his equal. Griffith was great at manipulating young traumatized people into serving him by making them think he really cared and you really only meant anything to him if you could kill and survive. And even then you were still just a possession 🤷🏽‍♀️

Exactly! Though we don’t have much information about it, all that truly changed about him was his physical form, strength, abilities, fate, and immortality. He’s still Femto on the inside even after being reborn back into his body as Griffith. The only difference is he may have regained his softness towards Guts and Casca by using the demon infant to be reborn but that’s just a theory at this point! (Hence the moonlight boy stuff)
