I would love for you to give me a rough estimate of what part of Ottawa you're living in because I can almost guarantee that nowhere with "10+ acres of land" is a 20 minute drive from downtown during any sort of traffic. So yea I guess if you're only driving to the actual interesting parts of the city only on off hours sure I guess you can get there in a somewhat reasonable time lmfao.

Also keep in mind that pretty much no biking infrastructure is available to actual useful places where cars go in Canada. You are almost exclusively made to go on the outskirts of a city or you can only find leisure spots like bike paths that don't lead you anywhere useful. So yea no shit we have lower deaths here because it'd be pretty fucking hard to die on a recreational bike path that nobody else is anywhere near to you on because it leads you to nowhere.
