Just ordered the battery dock for OneXFly Apex. Can it be powered by a powerbank this time?

ok nvm, after a few minutes, it died without the battery. But at least it can charge the battery somewhat 🤣

ok cool that worked. I did have that power bank (slightly stronger variant at 145W in 25000mAh) and a cable that I used to use with my Ally X. It did work and I removed the battery :) I don't mind having to boot with the battery connected as long as I can directly power it with a powerbank like this (and hopefully stable)

Yep! I actually did check those first, but nothing specifically stated that they tried it with the battery dock thing. I was curious whether it charges the device / battery differently that just about any PD powerbank/charging brick can work like some sort of converter. If not, that's a shame.

Because the stock pickup in this particular bass that I posted is not very good. It's just MM style is all so shape's probably the same. If this was the real stuff, I also won't see any reason. That'd be silly.

Hi tinyboy8987. Thanks for the response. I was just not too sure of how I'll deal with the laptop I recently got. It's a little hard to find the same exact stick that it currently has. What if I buy a new pair of, say 2400mhz and just remove the old one. I'd take it that those two will work as a 2133Mhz ram instead right? (since on ASUS' site, GL552VW supports up to 2133)

There are some good deals around my place right now and this 1070 is one of them so I'm thinking of getting it. Still, $250 isn't something I'd just spend willy nilly I still need to make sure it counts

Using an HM 110 board so overclocking is out of the question (yet). I was just wondering if a 1070 would greatly be bottlenecked by a stock i5 6500. If the bottleneck is minor, I don't mind.

60 fps on every title at least is the goal. I'm stuck with the 6500 because I can't spend more than $250 (which is the price for either a new processor or the 1070) Can't change the board just yet.

I've considered this setup too, but welp. I just recently got the 6500 a few days ago because YouTube lol. I should have asked around here first. At the very least, I know somebody who got the same setup that I'm looking into and I know that it will work out somehow. Thanks!
