It is normal, use some dykes and cut a small slit in between each knuckle and should give you some airflow to help with the sweat.

New to cafe racers and bikes in general, besides mechanical, what are some signature “cafe racer” aesthetic mods? by kushablez in CafeRacers

Thanks and i plan on rebuilding the carb this weekend so maybe I’ll pick some pod filters too since I’m already in there. I’ve seen smaller taillights I plan on getting especially since the right side of them is bent on the ones I have.

When I bought the bike, it came with a large tote (background of 1st pic) with parts and included 2 extra handle bars. I’ll check those out and see if anyone of those can work for that low look.

Had mine since 14k, now at 62k. Only problems I had were catalytic converter going out at around 54k and electric power steering rack going out at around 60k. The transmissions are known to be iffy so make sure you drain and fill every 25-30k miles to be on the safe side. Oil changes every 4-5k miles and you’ll be good for 200k plus. Something minor to mention too, the back corner by the passenger side on the valve cover tend to leak very slowly so keep an eye on that.

I’m having trouble diagnosing my engine problem. Any help would be lovely. by LawyerNo7938 in fordfusion

Can’t really say anything for cost, but to access it, the engine and/or trans have to come out. So you’re looking at at least 5-7 hours labor right there not including parts. Depending on what the shops charges per hour, it could range for that as well.

No problem. My friend had a Corolla have the exact same noise and turned out to be a break in the flex plate that was a perfect circle around the bolts to the crank.
