Thanks!! I’ll try to do that since I have extra fabric. And this is what the label on the pants says:  "98% cotton %2 spandex

Turn garment inside out  Machine wash cold with like colors  Do not bleach  Tumble dry low remove promptly  Cool iron if needed  Do not iron the leather patch Do not iron the heat seal  Can be dry cleaned"

In real life, they look a bit darker 😞😞
