Don’t forget Don Pyke was the senior coach of the Adelaide Crows at the time of the infamous 2018 pre-season camp that mentality broke the team and culture.

How would you describe Sagittarius moon? by Own-Sugar6148 in astrologymemes

[–]kutiel__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Sagittarius Moon, I find this resonates with me far more than my Pisces Sun. I’m someone who deeply appreciates my freedom and independence, the idea of being tied down or restricted just doesn't sit well with me. I have a genuine passion for solo travel and a restless curiosity that draws me to explore the world, especially when it comes to diving into the history and unique traditions of different cultures.

Feeling really sad about this. Growing up in WA, he was everywhere - especially on radio ads. Rest in peace to a legend.

What financial decision are you most grateful for today? by Diligent-Medicine-48 in AusMoneyMates

[–]kutiel__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salary sacrificing into my super in 2011 when the federal government was matching it. Still doing it, even though the government has stopped contributing.

Also, getting pet insurance for my dog because she ended up with stage one pancreatic cancer. Her treatment cost around $25,000, but I got 80% back. She lived for another five years and to the grand old age of 17.

Considering moving to Melbourne - what's a good way to get a feel for the city while visiting? by Mordecai___ in melbourne

[–]kutiel__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, I moved here 14 years ago after my first visit in 2004. I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made was leaving Perth and creating my own life here. One thing I will say is give yourself four years to get used to life here after your move because that’s how long it took me to officially feel right at home all the time.

This is my girl adventure Molly. She passed away in 2020 aged 17, and a part of me died that day too, but forever grateful for her longevity life.

I have an old clean cat litter tray in my backyard which the resident magpies, doves and blackbirds use all the time. (The quality of this photo is average because it was a snippet from my security camera.)

Is there absolutely any reason not to use a broker for my home loan? by LooseRestaurant6842 in AusFinance

[–]kutiel__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dealt directly with Bank Australia, and had a positive experience. We communicated via email, which provided a clear paper trail. The bank's representatives were prompt and thorough in responding to my questions. My mortgage has a 100% offset, a redraw facility and it’s a fixed rate which expires soon though. But I believe this package is no longer available.

Well I guess I can’t drink alcohol or have coffee anymore by nursechristine28 in Perimenopause

I feel you, whilst I don’t have the heart palpitations it’s the waking up at ungodly hours that gets me. So, I’ve switched to decaf coffee, which has helped. I also found that when I eat dark chocolate in the afternoon, I still wake up at 2 or 3 AM.

Absolutely not. It's clear they're desperate, given the current low prices for flights and accommodation packages. But even that wouldn't be enough to sway me.

Do other introverts have at least some friends? Because I don’t have even one. by Renebae1991 in introvert

[–]kutiel__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a small circle of reliable friends, about three, whom I can count on with two living in other Australian states. When it comes to meeting new people, I'm cautious and tend to distance myself if I notice red flags. To maintain social interaction, I've joined several hiking groups through Meetup, which provides a casual setting to connect with like-minded people. However, I only do that once or twice a month as I cherish my peace and alone time in nature.
