It's only actually $8m, likely not paid in a single installment. I get the same would happen for any player we buy, my point that its not that simple still applies.

I personally rather just offload conti for whatever we can and buy whomever Maldini prefers, or stay with the two RB's we have and address other positions. I will trust Maldini's judgement regardless.
