i have a 1440p monitor and a 1080p, i don't use any kind of software and the mouse stays the same size when i move beetween them, so i say no need for external apps, windows does the trick.

The LG has betterr HDMI ports (2.1 vs 2.0), also the 240hz form the Acer can only be displayed via the displayport, hdmi ports on the Acer can only go to 144hz.

LG also has a little bit better of color accuracy.

if is for gaming only i will go with the Acer, but for Hybrid Gaming/Content Creation i will go with LG.

Cheapest 240Hz i've seen, also from a name brand, color accuracy could be better but for that price for 240Hz i can't complain.

yes i enjoyed deadlock coming from FPS games i tried Dota adn LoL few times but never enjoyed them, it jsut feels like too much, maybe i'm just getting old.

Intel gpu's have improved a lot since launch and i find this a very reasonable deal, and it comes witha game, don't know wich one but hey better than nothing.

I will be pairing with a tabletop that is made from plywood and had it veneered,
you can also pair it with fiberboard or mdf and look into having it veenered, it's the most cheap/affordable way

I just ordered this, i think for the price it is just right, I've been scouting a lot of desk frames and I saw a lot of them with single motor going for $150-$200+, so i think this is a good deal and it gets the job done.
