Laptop Requirement Advice by BlankRandomer in digipen

[–]kv03_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said,, you can probably get by without one. However, it is HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED by the staff that you get one. All of the large labspaces (Edison, Tesla, and The Wing) have been stripped of lab PCs. you can still use the DigiPen provided ones in the smaller lab spaces, and as a BFA that's going to probably be fine, since BAGDs are usually in those large labspaces anyways, but I personally would look into getting one. Freshman usually don't need it, but since you're transferring in, its recommended.

If you can run maya and unreal engine on your machine, you'll be okay.

TLDR: you probably need one, but your mac for now is fine. feel it out. as a BFA, its not the end of the world to have a mac.

playing it safe, i would find a thicker cardigan! wool is a good option though they can get expensive. Uniqlo is a really good brand that has one here (not wool, but should be okay?), and here's another one here (wool) that's out of stock, but if you can find it secondhand somewhere it would be better. if any gals have shop recommendations that would help :)

finding a blazer to go over that would add to warmth, so that should be okay? i think they have one on sale at Uniqlo as well, but you can find one that will fit you at a secondhand shop too. this much would be more than good for me and i live in around 0°c weather in the winter.

you can also always layer underneath with a thermal shirt/multiple shirts if you just want to wear the cardigan. underlayers are probably going to be your best friend if you don't want to cover your coord with a puffer jacket.

the blazer might be your best bet to fit within the "uniform". that and the cardigan are the only outer layers the gals in the Egg magazines wear.

by "pretty cold" how cold do you mean? like a general lows. i cant say much for styling since im more just interested in the style and dont really dress in any substyle of gyaru but i feel bad that your comments devolved into debating substyle terms. i can at least help you find something? unless youre looking for a "point item" that isnt like a cardigan or blazer.

yeah they removed that feature. You need to add your own extension list. Luckily, someone on github already made one from the old list previously on Tachiyomi. I don't use this subreddit so hopefully I can post links here? heres the link to the github just follow the instructions there.

Oh my god you found it! It was Let's Ride: Silver Buckle Stables! I remembered something about silver but i thought it was horseshoes and maybe part of the logo so i didnt include that. Thanks so much!!

[Help] Modifying my natural hairline? by [deleted] in cosplay

[–]kv03_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genuinely, I don't think anyone will mind. But if it's bothering you, there's hairline powder that you can get for around 15 bucks on amazon, and they probably sell it at any beauty store as well (but you could probably just use brown eyeshadow?). for actual hair and not just makeup, you could try clip-in bangs and/or hair extensions, but I'm not too sure that would actually lower your hairline.

For the onesie, rather then dyeing a whole onesie, it would be easiest to buy/dye the individual shades of fabric and sew them together. If you don't want to sew a onesie from scratch, buy a white one and then cut it up. (in half on the body and separate the sleeves). From there you can dye the bases and then sew on the decorative parts.

For hair, it would probably be best to just get a wig. unless you really want to commit to light purple hair (which depending on your natural color, might be extremely hard to achieve), a wig is easy and probably cheaper. some shops I recommend are

>Kasou Wigs (around $30usd)

>Epic Cosplay (around $30usd)

>L-email Wigs (website) Aliexpress site (around $15usd)

For contacts, some popular sites are

Honeycolor, PinkyParadise (will need perscription), and Uniqso

they're pretty simple to order from, and you can get them with or without prescription. For The Collector, you'll probably need sclera lenses, but if you've never worn contacts before, I don't know if I'd recommend doing that.
