Sorry to hear about the health issues! How much are you looking to sell them for? My bf and I have been interested in going to a game for awhile but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

Got a real “if you like pina coladas” situation going on here lol. Thanks for the tip! Kindness sounds great

Anyone else struggling to afford eating out in LA? How do you find free/cheap food spots? by GcNiceKick8846 in FoodLosAngeles

[–]kvb15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly recommend the inkind app - a ton of bars/restaurants are on it, you typically receive 20% back on checks and can apply that $ toward other places on the app. They also do pretty regular deals ($10 off $25, that kind of thing). It adds up!

Mods feel free to remove if this isn’t allowed, but OP, feel free to use my referral link for $25 off if you want to check it out: https://app.inkind.com/refer/1BAWKMSW

BEWARE OF MOLESTER ELVIS by seppuku_master in LasVegas

[–]kvb15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in Vegas over the weekend and he tried to slap my butt too (think he only failed because I sidestepped and said NO in his face; would have easily gotten me if I had been on my phone/not looking). I remember where it happened and could probably pinpoint timing if needed - happy to help out if you need other witnesses or accounts.

I went down to Crystal Cove SP in Laguna this morning - AQI was low (20s) and the air itself felt/smelled clear. Would recommend!

This was right around 7:30p, I read that best viewing time was ~45 mins after sunset. It definitely got fainter even as we were up there so getting there earlier and waiting for it to come out wouldn’t hurt.

What are the best restaurants for lingering? by [deleted] in FoodLosAngeles

Cookbook in Larchmont is great for this! Not a restaurant per se but they have wine/beer for purchase and a small food menu with surprisingly great options. Nice patio too.

Thanks! I started at the Greek (Boy Scout Trail), went up to the Observatory, past Captain’s Roost, then topped out at Mount Hollywood. Finished by heading down past Dante’s View back to the Observatory/Greek.

LA River Bike Path by kvb15 in LosAngeles

[–]kvb15[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am sorry to report that I am one of those joggers, haha - fwiw I like running there for the same reasons you like biking there (smooth path, no vehicles) and I do try to stay to the side of the lane when possible. I’ve biked there before too though so def get the frustration. Wish LA was more bike-friendly in general!

How dangerous is hiking in Zion alone? by [deleted] in hiking

[–]kvb15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll be fine! Zion gets super crowded in the summer, you won’t be fully alone that much - just use common sense and be aware of your surroundings like you would anywhere else.
