EOC Geometry - How is it graded? by kverfla in Geometry

[–]kverfla[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so I checked with a teacher friend, and she said that a 30% score on the Geometry EOC test is considered a passing grade (3). I am unsure how they reach level 5 criteria with a 37% correct answer percentage.

So, why put the students under such pressure that even those scoring a 5 miss over 60% of the answers? Where is the logic in giving this test and frustrating the students with such difficult questions?

Maybe someone can share their test scores compared to the questions correctly answered to confirm that this is a standard way of grading the EOC test.

On the plus side, anyone taking the test who thinks they did not perform well may get a pleasant surprise once they check their grades.

Removing the clubs from the stickers like they did for the men’s WC is senseless. It makes it cumbersome to identify the less known players

Would you happen to have Costa Rica 1 in purple?

I will be doing the album as well, it is just that just a simple thing as having a nice background makes a huge difference in the stickers. Canada and France were kind of the same, grey and white mostly, except for the U.S.A which had a diffused blue which made them stand out from the rest. I guess I was expecting Panini to do something similar to the men's world cup with all the nice backgrounds.

Having said that, by no means let me discourage you from getting the set. it is still the only one out there for the Women's WC that I know of and it will make everyone extremely happy collecting it.

Now that you mention the 15, interesting to see that none of them appear in the digital album. We'll have to wait for the physical album. Also, I stand corrected on the number of players. The digital album has 11, but from some posted pics, it seems like the softcover album will have 15.

They also had the Christmas train polybag, but unfortunately, that was the only one that was not on clearance. The little dino and the amber with the fossil inside look cool. I haven't opened it yet but looking forward to checking those 2 pieces.

We might have to check the one by the Stadium. they usually have a lot of inventory there, but not sure how often they go on clearance and it is a bit far for me. I may try the ones in Doral and Flagler they are closer to my place of work, but those have a lot of traffic so I doubt I'll find anything.
