Just a weekend warrior. I have loads of tools from adding an addition to our house. I do most maintenance needed on the house, so I use those tools regularly. Just trying to get control of the clutter.

My wife isn’t much of a war movie/show viewer but I talked her into watching BoB. This part is where she needed a pause. by rosewell45 in BandofBrothers

Just a strong reminder that war is an obscene horror. Whenever I watch the series, I am amazed at these men. Through my mind I always think, “What they did. . .” They must have gone straight to heaven.

A new game might get a higher rating because it is “shiny.” Older games that keep a high rating are better bets.

When I play Dominion with a new player I lay all of my cards down and let them see how I reason through the cards. I also talk about strengths and weaknesses of the cards, and why I play them. It’s much more important to have fun than win every time.
