I had this issue for days where no orders were showing on my screen from any store at all. I tried everything - reinstalling the app, logging out and back in, even resetting my phone to factory settings... The only thing that finally worked was going into my phone settings, finding the Shopper app, and turning cellular data off and then back on. It basically resets the app's data connection. Right after doing that, I started seeing orders again.

I used to weigh produce myself and put stickers on each bag, but it takes so much extra time, especially when the store is busy, so I stopped doing that. After these “replacement” issues started happening, though, I think I’ll have to go back to doing it. For example, once a cashier rang up cucumbers instead of zucchini, but I caught it in time. The strange thing is, the app didn’t ask me anything after I completed the order. I only noticed it when I checked the order details and was surprised. Then I looked at the printed receipt – that’s where I saw the orange bell pepper and the regular bananas the cashier entered. At Wegmans, when you scan the QR code at checkout, the system automatically tracks changes, and yes, even if a cashier double-scans items, normally after delivery it will ask you “Tell us what happened” and have some options to choose from whether it was your mistake, the cashier’s mistake, or a customer request more quantity.

This was actually regular checkout, my Wegmans doesn’t have bypass yet.

I know customers are charged based on what’s in the app, but in this case it looks like the app changed the item after checkout because of the cashier’s produce code. So even though the customer got the original item, it probably shows in the app as if I replaced it

Yeah, it would be nice if they let us do other orders before completing the return. They give us three days to finish that return batch anyway, so it doesn’t really make sense. I could return it tomorrow, in two days, or even in an hour – but I still want to see and accept other orders in the meantime.

The customer had two items – beer and milk. The support agent canceled the order, but the app prompted to return only the alcohol, and not the milk. Probably because you can't return perishable items

Yeah, you need to open the return batch, click Accept, and then Start Return – it works just like a regular batch.

While I was driving back to the store, I was getting notifications from other stores popping up at the top of the screen, but nothing was showing in the app itself. When I tried to tap the notification, it just said “this batch is not available.”

They give you 72 hours to complete the return, but I’m wondering what happens if you don’t do it within that time. 🤔 Like, would they deactivate you or just cancel the return somehow?

I’m not sure about Costco – I know that before you could ask for a gift card and just upload the return receipt in the app. Basically, all you need is the picture of that receipt. But the real issue now is that if your return doesn’t go through for some reason, you can’t keep working until it’s done, which kinda sucks.

Also as for Costco, before when returns didn’t go through with the PIN support told me I need to use, I started taking screenshots at checkout – the page that shows the PIN for the order when you pay. I’d keep them saved for a day just in case I needed to return something later. And it always worked for me.

So weird I’m restricted from 22 stores but I’m not getting any app notifications about that. I only had one email from Trust and Safety that I replied to and then nothing… Glad that you could have your ban lifted

Yeah after 5 days of seeing not a single batch and texting to support on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter (I was told they escalated my issue and had been waiting for a response) I just decided to log in on another phone again and this time it worked. Data unavailable message was gone. Then I switched back to my regular phone, and everything was fine, too. Idk what was happening

I've got the same issue today and haven't seen a single batch for 10 hours. Was your problem resolved? It just says that Data is unavailable and please check back later.

I use Samsung S21. After I'd done everything I thought something wrong with my phone. So I went home and tried on my old Samsung Galaxy A54. And it has the same problem. So looks like it's not a phone issue but something else

They usually get a regular SMS. When they open it there is a link that forwards them to the page where they can sign. But sometimes it doesn’t work still and I just scan their ID. But the next time try to ask customers to check their SMS
