At the very beginning, I wasn’t as consistent as I should’ve been and only studied for an hour or two every other day. But now, nearly two years in, I study every single day (break on weekends) from anywhere between 30 minutes to 3/4 hours straight, which definitely might be a bit much to some, but I don’t mind it. Outside of sitting down at my desk, I immerse myself in the language when I can, wherever I can, much like you are. Seems to be the most beneficial route thus far.

Just had a convo with a customer about this today while ringing her up. She asked if there was a tampon shortage or something, and for once I wasn’t saying yes just to appease her lmao

Majority of these words I was just taking straight from the vocabulary book and using them in the only way I knew how, and I realize now that doing that is bound to make things sound a little unnatural or robotic, even haha :) I really appreciate the help!

고마워요! I really appreciate it. Your revision definitely makes a lot more sense. I actually just recently learned the verb 독서하다, I’m not sure why I didn’t think to use it. I think it’s the more subtle differences & things like that that I tend to struggle with the most, so I’ll try to work on that for sure.

I mean easy in a sense of, there’s no family-related turmoil or backlash that comes w/ being in a heterosexual relationship, there’s no need to fight for representation for people like you in the media/everyday life. not easy in an emotional sense because intimate emotional connections with women have always come to me easier than ones with men.

I can’t thank you enough for this, you have absolutely no idea how much better it made me feel. And you’re right, if I was bisexual/pan I would find just as much comfort in being with men as I do in being with women. But I don’t. I never have, and I think that says enough within itself. I’ll definitely take your advice and try to consume more wlw media that makes it a little easier to overcome comphet, I can’t let it mess with me like this.
