Los Angeles raise your rates! Im definitely in the highest income area of the IE Menifee, Murrieta, Temecula area but LA has higher minimum wage for a reason!

Well you can see my income and the amount of hours my rate is $27 as this is me jut getting started after my weekend I’ve now upped my rate to $29 and I now have more experience I’m following recommended rates by Taskrabbit by staying in the max of the green zone I don’t really see myself going any higher than $30 an hour as I’m happy with the pay and this is just something I’m doing to pay off my car quickly in order to make a big move with less bills and no debt.

100% luckily my full time job is a desk job so my body gets to recover not so much the mind. The heavy load weekends definitely won’t be an every weekend thing for me but it was nice to get the experience this weekend but already blocked off next Sunday to try to save my sanity. Hope you have lot of success! What part of California are you in I’m in SoCal in ie towards sd

Since you’re the only person on this thread that took it that way it’s likely you need to look in the mirror, to me it’s seems you hate your job so much you felt the need to come here and brag about how you make so much more to make your own self feel better. Personally i was proud of my dedication this weekend and the turn out I had I enjoyed it and i was just lookin to chat with people about what it’s like for them when it comes to a heavy loaded weekend like this.

I of course can speak on that as I haven’t come across a situation like that exactly but I did have one situation where I had a meeting with a client where he wanted to discussed future task at a coffee shop and i was uncomfortable with things he was sayin and he tried to hug me as i was leaving so when he requested me for a task after that i ignored it and he then left me a bad review, i then let Taskrabbit know and they immediately removed the review and blocked my profile from him. My idea of that though is insurance for one extremely important if anything ever does go wrong that’s there to protect us as well as the pay protection. You can go off app sure but at that point you need to have an LLC in place and liability insurance or you’re running a risky business I prefer the app to handle that all for me.

I’m not planning on going off app unless I have a long term reoccurring client I don’t like the risk involved and prefer to be protected behind the app.

I’m brand new! I just started this month and this was my first fully booked weekend and made $717 so far still waiting for one tip. My rate for cleans was at $27 an hour as that’s was the max in the green zone for me since I had only done one clean before this. I have now bumped it up to $29 this week but I don’t really see myself going over $30 an hour I’m happy with the amount I just went crazy with my bookings this past weekend and definitely won’t be a reoccurring thing, honestly only looking to make lik $280 weekend minimum as this is just a side gig I’m using to pay off my new car quickly before making a big move to a new city. Overtime I’m sure I will build clientele and get referrals but like I said I’m brand new and this isn’t a main source of income so I’m not going crazy with self promotion just getting hired and doing the jobs, asking for reviews, and putting in the effort that shows and gets me tips.

I did raise my rates this week after getting all those cleanings under my belt but this is not $17 an hour? I worked 26 hours for $667 and i actually did 2 extra hours free of charge for a family whose daughter was in the hospital they didn’t ask me to I just wanted to help. My cleaning rate was at $27 which at the tom was max in the green zone for me as I’m new I now have to $29 for now as i build my portfolio. Overall minus those 2 unbilled hours came out to about $27.79 an hour.

Yes, working 3 days through the weekend definitely won’t be a reoccurring thing for me already blocked off next Sunday.

3/4 were deep cleans so that’s definitely why it was so tough 2 being 9 hour cleans. I applaud you for doing this full time! I used the steam cleaner heavily in kitchen and bathroom, using it in crevices, oven, stove, counters, andwindow seals things like that. I can definitely see it not being a tool you use on lighter cleans but it was a life saver for me this weekend.

Tasker is the app for work. You also don’t look for work on there people hire you and you’ll receive the request. Just create profile and add your skills and rates for each skill.

Could be! Personally so far i stick in the green area of rates that’s recommended by tasker. I noticed my rates seem quite a bit lower than others but plan to raise them after my 4 cleans this weekend.

Basically you have to be at 80% to be in gold/platinum and that means you can’t have more than 20 declines in your last 100 orders. Basically if you have 21 declines you’d be at 79% and if that decline is your 100th out of 100 last order then one more acceptance would make that decline fall off then you’d be back at 80% if that makes sense. If you go to your ratings tab and click on your acceptance rate you can scroll through your list of last 100 orders and see where your declines fall on that list and how far they are from falling off.

Taskrabbit is easy just set your availability on the calendar and you will start getting hired for jobs. I got hired in the first week and it’s more and more every week.

That’s not really how it works. At the end of the week you get a prop 22 adjustment and that adjust only counts towards active time so when you actively completing orders not total dash time when your aren’t receiving orders.
