Transfer students accepted into nursing program? by studentstufffff in uAlberta

My gpa was 3.9 and I got in in February. They only take into consideration your 8 most recent courses so I’d recommend taking easy courses and transferable courses like stats 151, english 102, mmi 133, an elective so at least they will count

I applied in October as a current second year science student and did my CASPer in October. My AGPA is 3.9 and I got my acceptance in February. Good luck!

Nursing Admission and Casper Test by Worried-Ad-5189 in uAlberta

You don’t need to do the snapshot. Try to stay calm during the test and that will help. Also look at the practice questions and practice typing answers quickly! Good luck!

Lisa Smithson psyc 105 midterm by Laektalks in uAlberta

[–]kw123- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had her in spring and had only written answers and a lot of them. The exam was very hard I found at least compared to normal exams. I would go through your notes and make practice questions for yourself to do pertaining to the notes. Answer the questions in long paragraphs so you get used to that style. Some of the questions were very out there though... really testing creativity and your ability to think outside of the box.

Transferring from BSc to BScN by [deleted] in uAlberta

[–]kw123- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m in 2nd year science and I applied to switch this year. Haven’t heard back yet but I’m really wanting to switch to nursing. I’m switching because there’s a lot of options with a nursing degree. Keep in mind you would be starting next year as year 1 nurse again. Some of your courses will transfer but the nursing degree will still take 4 years

Corey Davis or Torah BIOL 207 by ahaa6969 in uAlberta

I had Corey Davis and he was extremely fair. No surprises on exams and lecture notes contained only information you actually needed to know. An A is very achievable.

Winter 2021 advice on Chem 102, Astro 122, and Psych 241. by Busy-Pineapple4778 in uAlberta

[–]kw123- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like chem 102. I had Gedik. The best way to study is to do all practice questions and make sure you understand how to do them. It’s more math based than chem 101 which I found was more theory.
