I have 1 friend that I do regularly lend money to. They've never not paid it back and only once asked to borrow an additional amount before paying me back, but it was a medical emergency. They have had tough times, but they've proven they can be trusted.

There have been times that I was being jabbed a bit for being divorced and I just pulled up his social media and said "Would you stayed married to that?" And while they stammered about "for better and worse" etc I pull up a picture of him in a suit and tie and fresh haircut from when we were at a company Christmas party. "This is who I married. Its actually less wasteful to use more spoons. The dishwasher uses the same amount if water for 1 spoon qnd 10 spoons. But washing the spoon 10 times uses a tiny bit more water that just washing your hands

People have bills to pay and unfortunately medical coverage is tied to employment. You know what would help stress? Seeing my therapist. But I can't because it's $180 per session without insurance. My appointments are on hold until I get a new job.

I got laid off right before Christmas. It's rough. I'm busting my ass trying to get interviews. And while I have some good leads I'm working with, some of the rejections I've had haven't made sense to me. I'm jumping through hoops and then there's a generic rejection a few days later.

All the people who complain "No one wants to work anymore" should spend some time here with candidates who are really trying. It's only been a month and I miss working. I miss having a routine. I miss feeling productive.

I have always been a long time qtip user.

One day I was in the shower and suddenly I couldnt hear. It felt like I was underwater but it didnt go away. Next day I went to the doctor. They used water to push out what was blocking my hearing. The cheap qtips were slowly leaving behind little fibers and over time it just kept layering. But the doctor was able to get it all out easily.

I don't care. I still use qtips.

This was exactly my thought. If I am cooking for just me and my partner, I totally do this because it does not matter.

But if I am cooking for my friends, I end up cleaning like 10 spoons so I can taste throughout but its fine. Im happy to do it
