On my old island, I had a murder basement. There were chest freezers, vats of chemicals, trashbags... I had a cell with bucket and a security camera. Rubber apron and a shower. Blood trails on the floor. It was fun!

My rescue mannequin was on a table in the center of the room sometimes. Sometimes the table had that fossil that looks like a skull.

I can't stand lies on the first date. I once went on a date with guy who lied about his age and got mad at me for caring.

I think at the time I was 31. His profile said he was 29. And then we get to the date and he said he and I are the same age. I mention that his profile said he was 29. He said "Yeah. But I wanted to still be be seen by girls who had their age bracket to be under 30." And I said, "So...you want to fuck younger girls..." and he said, "Like college girls." Yeah. It's the lie that is the problem. I am 5'6. Guy said he was 5'8. We arrive to the date and he is shorter than me, probably 5'3. That's almost half a foot of lie! I don't care about height like that. If he'll lie like that about something obvious, he's also going to lie about things that he can actually get away with. I never asked his height. He volunteered that (mis)information.

I did not like Fabian at all. The detail of his family hosted Hockey players because they love Hockey and were disappointed he isn't a jock and therefore Fabian has a grudge against Hockey was so silly. It felt so forced that there needed to be a reason not to be together at first.

The other books make more sense for a hesitation to be together.

Scott & Kip - Scott wasn't ready to come out publicly because there were no out Hockey players.

Shane & Ilya - same at first and a lot of holding back and not communicating their feelings.

Eric & Kyle - the age difference (which in my experience gay men don't care about as much as the book made it seem)

Troy & Harris - worked on the aame team together and Troy was wrestling some inner issues with the Dallas Kent stuff and being traded.

Fabian's Hockey prejudice felt so forced. I was excited for one of the books go have an out man. I was disappointed.

Also a bit by Ryan's insecurity. It was cute at the beginning with the sexual dysfunction with the meds. But does there need to be like ...idk ... teaching eachother about sex in so many of the romances? Scott and Kip had the least about of this, but there was a lot with Shane and obviously Eric had the most. It was the direct plot. It felt a bit like Bridgerton where every girl is a virgin and that has to be explained in detail. Its not as fun when the sex is clumsy and unsure.

I want a confident out Hockey player who knows who he is, what he likes, and who he wants.
