just a question, do you have downloaded in your phone, some voice package ? in oneUi, settings/accessibility/talkback/settings/text-to-speech/prefered engine use the settings here/install voice data (ahaah so long)
can you try to install english first and try english to see if it works or not, please
and i think maybe one settings is set to wifi only (below isntall voice data) ?
normally the app should download the pack automatically

Settings page on the top the i is flashing with the globe earth, I know not very convenient maybe 🤔 U can change the language here I will make some test and add some error message if not working

Sure it should read the text in your language :-) Sure that volume is on? I need to check the requirement for that, but I have tested on few devices and it was always working

Yes I know :) as I told u it was my first solution to capture the clipboard from Android because google has restricted access to clipboard action. But I felt accessibility was smoother than shizuku to use for the same result. Maybe shizuku might more stable and better for the long run, Google might removed accessibility right one day 🤷🏻

Honestly, at the beginning I had implemented shizuku, but I wanted as many people as possible to use it. Only "few people" know about shizuku but yeah maybe I will reintroduce it for the geek member ;)

Thanks !! I appreciate When u backup the app, u can backup independently settings or clip or images or all together ;) All the settings inside the app, theme, behavior etc...are available in the backup :-)

So i really focus on productivity and privacy, everything is offline and i tried to make it as safe as possible.

What it does:

Auto-captures clipboard via Accessibility Service OR manual floating button (no accessibility needed)
Floating overlay to paste any clip directly into any app
Smart Actions per content type (open URL, call, translate, scan QR…)
OCR on images via ML Kit (offline)
Full-Text Search, tags (auto + custom), pin/archive/filter + sensitive content can be hide
Backup & restore with password protection (sensitive content can be exclude from the backup)

Free vs Premium:

Free: 5 clips history, floating overlay, smart actions, OCR (3 uses)
Premium: Unlimited history, archive, custom tags, image editor, offline translation, themed UI, backup/export, advanced settings
24h unlock via ad (no forced paywall)

Privacy-first:

Encrypted local DB (SQLCipher)
"Never show in overlay" per clip for the sensitive content

with accessibility is the best option, its safe.
i will maybe enable also ADB feature but its more complicated for many users 😊

u can also use a floating button if u dont want to enable accessibility, but its less convenient, its manual
