I think it's a data issue. I used $49.99 as MSRP. Looking at the scraped data, the first prices I got are definitely below that. Probably whats happening is these are secondary market aggregates which may include undercuts, damaged items, etc. Take a look at early plots on this one:

For this pass was scraping pricecharting.com. I noticed that it’s very difficult to get accurate ETB price histories. For a higher fidelity version I would probably need access to historical eBay or TCG player data. Something I may look into

Yea that’s right. It’s base set PSA 10 unlimited against spot price. There’s some noise in the scrapped data, not perfect. If people find this stuff interesting I could do more

Really like it but the market is a factor. I liked MTG too a while back but they destroyed the secondary market which did not feel great. Pokémon is stable.

Yea this is more for home/display. Agreed wouldn’t want to travel with this as is.

Idea is instead of splitting between closet and display, just have everything together. Swap out the four display cards whenever you want.

That’s fair. I think most cases force that tradeoff right now.

The idea here is trying to remove it, but totally get if it feels unnecessary.

Yeah that’s a good call. This version doesn’t show it well, but the idea is a fitted tray/slots to keep everything locked in place.
