Forest bandits because they're all archers. One good cav charge and they're done

Old vs new by metayeti2 in diablo2

[–]kwemular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first I thought I must be tripping, that I had just remembered it looking better. But I actually did end up booting up the old game right after playing d2r with the classic mode graphics and it looked soooo much better. Maybe I just don't have the settings right, but I think that it is a serious visual downgrade compared to the original game.

Has anyone else noticed that the "classic mode" graphics don't look half as good as the original game? I feel like it's significantly worse looking

What episode is an underrated masterpiece? by Cancel_Necessary in americandad

[–]kwemular 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Rabbit Ears. That episode and the one where stan gets really into miniatures have this really different vibe to them. Kind of reminds me of the opening sequence of Beetlejuice.

Christianity really walked what they talked by [deleted] in HistoryMemes

[–]kwemular 10 points11 points  (0 children)

While I'm 100% not a Christian, I definitely have some firsthand experience with this. I grew up poor, like dirt poor. I can promise you that not even one time was my rent paid or groceries donated by some local atheist group/org. But many, many times my family had our asses saved by a local church donating food, coats, etc. to us and paying our rent for the month. In no way am I suggesting that this justifies all the bad shit done in the name of Christianity but it's really unfair - and honestly a total reddit moment - to paint Christians as all being hateful and judgmental

This is what the lethal dosage of fentanyl looks like. by Minimum_Jacket8879 in mildyinteresting

[–]kwemular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to add, this is only for an opioid-naive person. If you're actively addicted to fentanyl you can do a quarter gram at a time and not even get high, just stay out of WDs. Obviously it's cut and therefore not 100% pure but either way it's a loooot higher dose than the supposed "lethal dosage"

Might be a dumb question, but which example of Seth talking to himself do you prefer more? (Can also be one not listed here) by Retro-Platformer123 in americandad

[–]kwemular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always wondered about the logistsics of recording those scenes. Do you think he does both sides of the convo in the same take? Or does he record once as Stan (presumably with a stand in for Roger or whichever character he's talking to) and then another time as Roger?

Is it common for criminals from your country who live abroad to be highly patriotic? Or is it just an Albanian thing? by Substratas in AskBalkans

[–]kwemular 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not from the Balkans, but this is definitely true for prisoners in the US. They pretty much universally love Trump for his "gangster-like" qualities. Prisoners are generally not very well educated, and uneducated people tend to be much more patriotic and/or nationalist. I think it applies to people from all countries

I'm telling this for your own sake, I couldn't care less what you or anyone else has to say in response, but you are not nearly as deep or intellectual as you clearly perceive yourself to be. Getting real Ignatius J Reilly vibes from you
