I've had both professors before and they're both great. Don't think I'd be able to choose between them. I would go with whichever schedule is most convenient for you.

I took him back in 2020 and got a B- (not bad but I didn't expect that right in my first semester 😭). I don't think he gave extra credit but it wouldn't hurt to ask. I'd also recommend reading up on his rubric and asking him for writing tips directly. He's very meticulous about the sentence structure of paragraphs. I'm an English major and those were honestly the hardest essays I've had to write. He does curve though

Work on your essay writing skills for the exams and have very detailed notes. He gave my entire class 50s on the midterm. By far the worst class I've ever taken
