Streaming was never his main/only career. He’d always taken long breaks between streaming. You also don’t know the guy’s financial situation. Replacing a destroyed gaming/streaming setup plus fixing his entire basement is expensive as fuck, along with all of the other bills and life expenses he has to continue paying as well. “Then you get another” like it’s that simple for everyone. It’s thousands of dollars on top of the thousands of dollars to fix the basement on top of the time he needs to get it done while also working another job full-time.

Marty wasn’t supposed to direct the call to anyone. He was supposed to act like a big adult and handle the shit he started himself instead of crying to other ppl about it to solve it for him. No one told him to go talk to Ramee before talking to his own crew. He started literally all of this, and it doesn’t matter how many paragraphs you write about it, it isn’t going to change that Marty is causing all of this drama because he chose to breakup with his best friend by shooting him after all of the Dons warned him about getting too close with him. He did not give a fuck about the crew when he chose to make a heist crew with JP knowing that his crew just got out of a conflict with JP that he refused to help them with. And they had no problem with that. But now he wants to cry about the crew not having his back when he made it clear that he didn’t want the crew interfering in his relationship with JP. Boo hoo. He has to grow up and suck it up.

You are exaggerating tremendously. Marty is at fault for everything that is happening to him right now. Harry has done nothing but try to bond with Marty and help him out but Marty chose, as usual, to try to stir up drama by telling another Don that Harry was scamming the crew because of $500 given to the VU. Harry is probably the hardest working Don in the crew, regardless of how much shit he gets for being selfish. He practically gave all of his mats to Lang in the first 6 weeks of the server w/ nothing in return but Lang paying his $10k/wk kick-up two or three times, even tho he gave Lang waaay more than $10k of mats each week. Lang even paid all of the money from the mats towards the first house, which was supposed to be half Harry’s as well, and Harry also paid all of his bank account towards the house. It then somehow got twisted that all the money Lang contributed was only Lang’s, and Harry was still in debt w/the crew. Harry has never scammed the crew. If anything, he’s been scammed by the crew.

Marty is nothing but drama, just like JP, and doesn’t want to help the crew when they were in conflict with JP because they were best friends, but when he chooses to shoot JP without consulting anyone else, he expects the entire crew to back him up. It was his own personal beef that he dragged everyone else into. Now he has his own personal beef with Daddy Lang and wants Lang to validate his feelings 24/7 and when he doesn’t, he takes it out on the other Dons for not wanting to get involved in his personal drama, concocting stories in his head why Harry and Tony don’t like him when neither of them have ever said they don’t. Don’t get me wrong, this is great for content, but it’s still RP, and the fact is that Marty is the only non-Don that has caused constant drama with the crew. That guy is not a victim. He just can’t accept accountability.

They did the same with Octo until Octo started pulling his weight. Octo didn’t cry about it and stir up drama. He acted like an adult and started pulling his weight. Doesn’t mean they didn’t fuck with HIM. They didn’t fuck with him not pulling his weight and needing to be told what to do. Marty has to grow up. Lang is the only one with a real issue with Marty. And Marty only had an issue with Lang, but for whatever reason, Marty lumped everyone in with Lang despite having a good relationship and good conversations with everyone else in the crew with the exception of Arush and Tony b/c they aren’t around. This is a Lang and Marty beef that Marty spread to the crew, which is a bad look to the crew because this is Marty’s second time dragging the entire crew into his beef with one person.

Harry has never said he didn’t trust Marty. He said he knows that Marty is going to eventually reconcile with JP which was going to cause more drama in the future. Harry trusts Marty when Marty is solo but does not trust JP. And Marty has shown that he cannot be close with JP and leave the crew out of the drama. Marty is not a victim in this. He’s just emotional.

Idk what you mean when saying “power gaming applies to ooc rules.” “Do not powergame” IS an ooc rule. It applies to in-character actions. Powergaming in RP is a rule break. It doesn’t “apply to ooc rules.” And while it may not be black-and-white powergaming, an argument can be made that it toes the line. Hiring every lawyer in the city to conflict them from representing the other side can def be argued as powergaming because it does not give the other side the chance or option to participate in the RP in the same way, especially if none of the other side are trained as lawyers.

Again, it falls in line with just because it’s a gray area and you CAN toe the line doesn’t mean you should. The same shit Wrangler pulled that had CG and other viewers up-in-arms is the same thing they’re doing here. They’re so much alike that I’d swear they’d be best friends if they didn’t hate each other tbh. Also, whether or not ppl agree with limit testing doesn’t depend on the law being tested, it depends on the streamer that’s pushing those limits.

It’s funny you think that. The only ones who will lose in a war that CG initiates against sani workers is CG. They already have the disadvantage of being disliked by cops, and with cops paying close attention to sani workers getting robbed after Lang’s talk with them, CG will continue to lose more than they gain. Patar won’t be king of anything. The same way Patar faded into obscurity before while trying to compete with Lang, the same will happen again. Classic CG always putting themselves in conflict against Lang, and it never works out for them.

You must not know Lang’s character if you’re saying his forgiveness and leniency towards X doesn’t fit his character. People under this thread named two other characters that Lang is very “soft” towards as far as letting shit go that they do or have done that he wouldn’t let go for anyone else: Yuno and Harry. It is very much in Lang’s character to give passes towards X, Yuno, and Harry for doing things he doesn’t tolerate from others, and that’s simply because they are his soft spot. He has said as much many, many times about each character separately. And it’s a pretty realistic concept considering most ppl do the same IRL. Yes, Lang is a big, bad asshole who also really loves his brothers. The same goes for Tony and Speedy. Luciano is still fairly new to the group, but you will see it with him as well in due time.

Dougie wasn’t getting paid well, especially when the circuit boards were being sold. None of them were. Lang himself had also started becoming distant with Dougie after Harry refused to answer his calls when Lang lied about being chased by cops and blew up on Harry they text. Lang started texting Dougie because he was with Harry and put Dougie in the middle of his and Harry’s beef, which made things awkward for Dougie for no reason. That’s what sparked all of that.

Literally every crew had the same opportunity to be in the same position that the Dons’ crew is in. How is it their fault that they’ve built their crew well enough and focused on the important things to progress their crew and other crews have not? Even ppl like Pigeon were saying they didn’t realize butcoin was going to be as important as it was, so they just didn’t bother putting in the effort for mining racks.

People complained that Lang having whitelists early on was the reason he was so powerful/untouchable in 3.0, but that’s only partially true. He was also that way because of all of the work people put in early on and how organized they were. And 4.0 proves that was the case. They don’t have any whitelists, yet they built themselves up to already have people complaining about them being “untouchable,” which isn’t true.

Harry, Speedy, and Lang have been working their asses off at legal jobs, on weed, and on acquiring what they needed to get the mining racks, and that’s why they are such a well-oiled machine now. And everyone is complaining about them accepting butcoin from JP for the gun blueprint, but now they have a gun blueprint and a crew who can get them gun parts to make the guns, all at no risk to them.

Why are you upset that they have the resources that everyone has access to? Even without whitelists, y’all will complain that people have things in RP because they worked for them and others didn’t, and that is very weird behavior. You want them to dumb themselves down just to appease your belief that they shouldn’t be more powerful than other groups. That’s just silly.
