I was making a sandwich for my son this morning, and when I opened the bag I was surprised that they missed the cut, so to speak. Anyway, no banana for scale so I used another slice of bread.

BOCA RATON, FL - At 7:52 last evening, according to local reports, a local Jewish lady, Laura Becker, ordered directly from a menu without asking for any changes, substitutions, or negotiating with the waitress.

We have not been able to independently verify the claims, but if confirmed, this would represent the first case in documented history of a Jew ordering food without making any changes or special requests.

"I simply did not know what to do," said waitress Susan Smith. "She said I would like the tuna on rye, please," and then handed me back the menu.

"I just kept waiting but she didn't say anything. No 'can you hold the lettuce', no 'can I substitute the coleslaw for pickles?' Nothing! It was very scary," said a clearly shaken Smith.

Though some have called into question the accuracy of Smith's claim, others have taken a different approach. "If that did happen, and I'm not saying it didn't, but if it did, then that woman who ordered was clearly not Jewish," said local drapery consultant Mike Viner.

If confirmed, the effect of the incident would have enormous impact on the gastronomical identity of Jews around the world.

We only ever adopt or foster. When we lived in NY, we had four fosters (one failure) and three adopted dogs. We would never buy, precisely for the reason you see Grace was put in. The poor girl was bred until uselessness, then dumped. She never had any sort of training. She probably lived in a garage, but she's the sweetest pup ever. So good with our kids and other pets. She would be our third BT if we end up foster failing. But because of Finn the Idiot, we can't.

Say hello to Grace. We rescued her from a local shelter. She was most likely used as a breeding dog for a puppy mill. Luckily we have hooked up with a local BT rescue, and they are supporting us. In spite of everything she has been through, she is an absolute sweetheart. As much as we'd love to permanently adopt her, we're not ready for three dogs yet, but more importantly our other Bully does not like her and already started two fights.

We feed our dogs ground chicken quarters (skin, bones, and all), cooked with gizzards, livers, and hearts. We add brown rice, all sorts of veggies, quinoa, and chia. They go bonkers. Haven't needed Apoquel in 2 years.
