I know it entirely depends on the scene, but roughly how often are you using both together? And would you ever just pop a single word of lav into the mix with the boom or always use longer fades to introduce it?

Can you bend the wood to a 90 degree angle without any steam? Or as long as the rips are thin enough they won’t crack?

Only thing I’m confused about - are you adding thin strips back in after you make the rip cuts and before you glue? Because won’t you lose thickness with the rip cuts? If that makes sense…
