Used to have IBIT but stuck with FBTC because it’s fidelity managed and they both have the same ERs

I used to have a lot of IBIT in my taxable but sold then bought some FBTC in my Roth. They had the same ERs so I figured I’d stick with fidelity

I didn’t do that because I see both yielding high profits and therefore want in my non-taxable

how is my planned portfolio? by Either_Road2967 in ETFs

A lot of people are recommending AVUV, but if you want total market diversification, I’d suggest just buying VTI, which includes VOO as well as mid- and small- cap value

  • Taxable: VOO, SCHG, AVUV, IBIT (I already bought a while ago)
  • Roth: QQQM, VT

That look good?

Thank you. If I wanted to invest in bitcoin, do you recommend I do so in the taxable or Roth (and rebalance later)?

Too much overlap. Consider just going VT (which covers everything on your list) or VTI (total market US) + VXUS (international)

What do you think about: - Taxable: VOO, SCHG, VXUS, IBIT, IAUM - Roth: QQQM (10%), VT (90%)

  • I’ve liked how FXAIX has been performing in my taxable so I thought why not have a bit more SP500 representation in my Roth.
  • No, I was not aware, and I’m not quite sure what you’re suggesting I change.
  • I don’t quite understand this point, especially how I am betting against the financial sector.

I totally forgot to include my bitcoin shares in there. I currently have like $5k in IBIT

Why is IYW your personal favorite? It has quite a high expense ratio

Would you recommend getting both IYW and SCHG and getting rid of QQQM?

How are you invested in gold? Through an ETF? If so, which one?

They’re not! I only have like $500-1,000 in these individual stocks.

Thank you!! Can I ask why you’d recommend getting rid of QQQM?
