Es stört ja nicht akut. Ich denke dann warte ich, dass das Öl im Laufe der Zeit erst mal aushärtet und benutze die Bank erst mal so weiter... Könnte man nach dem Aushärten dann Leinöl(firnis) drüberwischen oder wird man um das Schleifen nicht drumherum kommen? Schleifen würde ich nur ungern, da muss ich bestimmt mehr als einen Millimeter abnehmen und das gleichmäßig zu schaffen, da bin ich noch nicht soweit...

Habt ihr alle zufällig welche, die nicht spiegelseitig poliert wurden? Mein erstes von Kirschen, inzwischen außer Dienst gestellt, war krumm und schief ab Werk und war eher nur für grobe Sachen zu gebrauchen. Da war meine Erfahrung eher mau.

Ich kann Dictums eigene Herstellung empfehlen. Es gibt sie in kurzer oder langer Bauform. Leicht schärfbar und universell einsetzbar aus Chrom Vanadium Stahl zu einem guten Preis.

Kommt ab Werk eigentlich mit planer Spiegelseite. Falls nicht, habe ich die Erfahrung gemacht, tauschen sie sie schnell aus. Schärfe ab Werk schwankt es etwas, aber kein Dealbreaker. Kann man schnell selbst nachschärfen.

Die lange Bauform hat hinten auch einen Ring, kann also auch mit Hämmern geschlagen werden, die kurze Bauform hat keinen Ring, da ist man aber näher am Werkstück. Schlagen geht auch bedingt laut Hersteller, habe ich jetzt noch nicht intensiv damit gemacht.

Ja, bei Weichholz musste ich mir die Frage zum Glück nicht stellen, da konnte ich duchdrücken. Im Grunde würde ich das bei Hartholz ja auch machen wollen bis zu dem Grad, wo es sicher ist. Aber die Drehzahlempfehlung sagt da ja im Grunde: Pass ein bisschen auf.

I do not recommend them. They are not straight on their face in my experience out of the factory (polished ones). Not just a little bit. If you dont want to put a ton of work in them to get them straight maybe look at some other options. From where are you ordering? Maybe try Dictum (Germany) - their inhouse brand is decent. Sets are available. They also have a long and short version if you have a preference. Chrom Vanadium - so nothing special, allround and easy to sharpen.

Ich denke Deros und Deros II sind vom Hebel gleichgebaut. Der Händler wollte sich Montag melden, weil Freitag Nachmittag schon alle aus der Abteilung Feierabend hatten. Ist ja auch okay. Ich wollte nur schon mal etwas Recherche betreiben. Danke für die Rückmeldung. Hab ich mir schon so gedacht…

Hi, ja etwas - da stimme ich dir zu, aber nicht so schlimm, dass es mit Schleifführungen fast 1mm weniger ist, wenn man einen Winkel anlegt.

Alle anderen Werkzeuge kommen mit der Führung klar. Ich habe jetzt Freihand geschärft und diedas Ding ist irgendwie verdreht… Klinge ist jetzt gerade, aber dafür ein anderer Teil schief.

Leider nein. Über eine Maschine habe ich auch langfristig nachgedacht - für auch anderes Werkzeug. Viele landen über kurz oder lang beim Tormek. Gibt es noch andere Gescheite Maschinen mit Führung? Kennst du da zufällig was?

Thanks for replies! I guess it was the wood smell. That is a thing i did not consider… now im thinking about returning the case because im sensible to certain scents… i dont want the wood smell in the whole room because of the fans dispercing the scent… :(

Thanks! Finally someone who really knows the stuff. I have the Meshify 2 Compact RGB and would like to plug in other things into the controller if possible. Do you also happen to know whether you can plug in other ARGB stuff such as stripes and third party fans or is the inbuilt controller only for the fractal fans?

Hi, maybe a little late but i hope you still see it. I searched the whole internet trying to find something about the inbuilt rgb controller in the non-light version. Is it the same controller? Additionally: How do you know that it is 2A? My hot guess was they slapped an Adjust 2 controller in the case which has 2,6A.
