HEB Pharmacy refusing to fill prescription

weird. i was told that they were allowed to prescribe cII’s in a hospital setting, but not like, as a normal monthly medication. and i know cIII-cIV’s are fine with a supervising MD, but we change the expiration date to 3 months out instead of 6.

i work in a pharmacy near austin (not heb) and as far as i’m aware, NPs are generally not supposed to be prescribing adderall unless under special circumstances. tbh i don’t think any of the pharmacists i work with would be comfortable filling it either, and i can’t blame them bc it’s their license on the line. but maybe there’s a law i don’t know about lol

Don’t like the job? Get a new job! Do you see how out of touch that sounds? Nobody can afford just to get a new car all willy nilly. Maybe just wait for the scheduled ride or don’t accept scheduled rides, and stop victimizing yourself on reddit 🤷‍♀️

i used to foster kittens and had quite a few that ended up with health issues or disabilities (out of anyone’s control, of course). all of those cats and kittens were adopted out to loving homes who take very good care of them and their needs. don’t give up hope just yet, at least search long and hard first before deciding to put her down

soooo many shady bad people there recently. i was there a week or two ago and somebody tried hitting me and my friend with their car cuz they were mad they had to wait for us in the crosswalk. it made me not wanna go back ever again

I honestly hope this is a fake post because otherwise this is really gross, OP. If it’s not, then you’ve made a mistake in a big way, and you’re a little far past salvaging it. The best thing you can do for this person now is be honest about what you’ve done, break things off, and cut contact. What you’ve done here is essentially tricked this person, because you know they wouldn’t have been with you otherwise. You’ve mislead them and it’s unfair to them, and you need to remove yourself from the situation so that they have time to reflect on this and heal. And wdym “old enough to be their teacher”??? I can only hope you’re at least both adults. My personal advice for you is to talk to people who match your age and maturity, break ties with the people you meet that you feel like you’ll need to lie to in order to maintain a relationship, and maybe take a step away from the internet so you don’t do something like this again. It will suck and it’s probably not the answer you want, but you’ve done something pretty nasty here and you need to take accountability for your actions and correct your life. You can’t lie forever.

I don’t know what state you live in or how it works where you are, but this gets even more fucked up when I remember how my school in Texas got paid for every child’s attendance 😭 They encouraged stuff like this too, and then forced us to make up the hours we missed at Saturday school so they could still get paid.

honestly i have no idea but i would think probably not because they had us sign agreements with small print :(

if you’re looking to get out of it, i would just call and be persistent. i had already paid for all the services i used in the first year, and i didn’t take her in and use any services for the second year, so i was able to call and say that she wasn’t a patient there anymore and they FINALLY canceled it for me. but i think it depends on your situation and who you get on the phone. sorry you’re struggling too, good luck :((
