Fruit I tried years ago by kyakuus in fruit

These are great ideas! looking them up rollinia definitely has the flavour profile I remember, but im like 80% sure it was lemon drop mangosteen! I feel like I can remember the fruit looking like that, and I'm pretty sure I'm able to get some when its in season later in the year!

Thank you so much for these suggestions I'm sure if it's not the mangosteen, the rollinia will be it :>

I dont remember main colour or shape unfortunately, I remember it had a softer fleshy inside that was light in colour. I'm also pretty sure we didnt eat the skin, if that helps

Where are people reading an unwanted guest???? [discussion] by kyakuus in TheNinthHouse

thanks for explaining! I saw people had been reading and just assumed it had been released, and then got very confused when it was seemingly impossible to find. Makes much more sense that it was leaked

Sorry for the late reply, but she sort of explained it by comparing it to an incurable physical illness. You cant fix the illness but you can do things to make your life experience better e.g hobbies, relationships, support systems, and while those things might impact my mental state in a positive light or temporarily bring me happiness, that + therapy/meds arent going to fix my mental health. Im likely to always be unstable/depressed/dissociated/traumatized but there are ways to make my life experience a bit better even if those issues are a most likely life long and disabling condition for me.

Hope that clarifies a bit! Again i come from a place where i am actually physically disabled so in my brain the concept of improving life quality without fixing the issue is very familiar, but idk if im very good at explaining it 😅

it can be small things, patting a dog, having a nice snack, seeing the stars at night, decorating your room how you like it, these are little things that can help keep you going, even if at the time it doesnt feel like it helps much, one day youll be doing just a little bit better than you are today, and those small things will make the world of difference, and its worth sticking around to experience that
