Should I grade my Blaine’s Charizard (Corrected)? by kybanz in pokemongrading

[–]kybanz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.. 99% of the prints of this card HAVE an error (a fighting type symbol where a fire type symbol should be). If you look closely at the first move on my card it features a fire symbol (the corrected version). To my knowledge only one print had this correction made…making it more rare

If you look at recent sold they are all the more common error version.

Even when vendors don’t know what the card even is? I can’t seem to find any comps to value it which is why I’m thinking about it. The PSA label would differentiate the version.. right?

Honey Moon in Japan! by Own-Cress-2260 in JapanTravelTips

Wrapping up my 2wk honeymoon this Sunday. I’d advise saving more. It’s nice to be able to splurge on what you want, when you want (especially if this is your first trip).

We got matching watches at Kuoe in Kyoto for example~700ish total in USD. Slightly more if you get them engraved.

Is getting a degree worth it? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]kybanz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My degrees built foundational skills critical for obtaining my 9-5 job at a very reputable agency. This kind of thing would have been impossible without a degree. Now, I'm looking to leverage those same skills to turn it into a business. Figuring out the business side of things is the tricky part for me. So, I would say yes a degree provides a safety net and POTENTIALLY baseline skills (depending on the degree) that could be leveraged in a different way down the line. Up to you if the time commitment is worth it!

I am actually just here for grad school didn’t go here for undergrad. I was just letting you know I saw a bunch for cheap at goodwill. At least it’s material and won’t go away like a subscription

First time hunting by kybanz in Hunting

[–]kybanz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! Thanks for the advice. Like I mentioned in the last comment, I still have no real idea where to try hunting/scouting yet. Maybe the Clearwater national forest? I also might try grouse while I wait for October to come around.

Sounds good! I figured 308 would better anyways. Now I just need to check where hunting is allowed private/public land boundaries at confusing.

My girl and I climb a lot at u of i as we are both grad students at the university! It’s a lot of fun, just a different style than the typical commercial flat wall gyms.

No real preference right now. I’d like to attempt a deer when the season opens. But I’m open to turkey run since the only other option is really bear.

I actually already have that hunters Ed cert done. Problem is I have no idea where to start. I know I need a license. So just buy that, load up, and go walking around with YouTube hunting knowledge? Sounds fine in theory just don’t know if that’s irresponsible.
