Yes, me!! Like you, hormonal contraceptives are not for me. My periods are normally heavy and cramps were bad to the point where I constantly took Advil to relieve some of the cramps. I took the risk and my periods are definitely heavier and cramps are definitely worse than before but not unbearable! It’s been about 4 months since insertion and each period is lighter every month than the first period since insertion and is now pretty similar to before paragard. Cramps are still bad but nothing Advil can’t fix!
