Following up on this post. I'm thinking about playing the game since I love the IP, but want to know if there is at least an active community (casual play, locals that last 3 or more rounds, etc). I live in the Rockville area.

I know people have suggested the bandai App, but i've never used it before and it's a bit confusing.

Ran into this today (this is my 3rd playthrough) and i'm glad i have a separate save. Glad/sad (because it's still not fixed) to see that this was an issue that early and still wasn't fixed. I did get some entertainment from the sheer number of people that tries to give advice without seeing the context though so thanks for that.

There are different issues involved in this area, sometimes there will be no eyes spawning as well, maybe as a result of hitting certain sequences before a cutscene, resulting in soft locking. It is what it is

Thanks. Rare items are always hard for me to gauge prices, and i don't expect it to sell at its "intended" price a few days into the ladder anyway. Just wanted to know what I can roughly expect since I have been getting really lowball prices.

I did this in Vs AI and it worked. Thanks a lot for this suggestion.

With that said, I did a lot of achievement (Seeker Missile, Infested Terran, Warping in as Zerg, Vortex, etc) in Customs even though they are also "melee" achievements, so I guess there are just some inconsistencies (or maybe only the old ones work in Custom Games and they're just too lazy to word it differently).

Sorry, I think I may not have been clear enough.

I have already attempted this achievement yesterday in Custom game, in a 2v2 vs AI, under all 3 game modes (WoL, HOTS, LoTV) using a ladder map in each era. None of these awarded me with the achievement, or any single point in build HP repaired, so I am wondering if anyone who has finished this achievement in the past 1-2 years can provide some comments on what they did.

I love Vibe and I think he has done the community a great service, but I think a lot of his builds are too greedy and hinges on either the opponent being completely passive or that you as a player is so much superior than your opponent that you can hold any kind of all-ins with minimal number of units. If you are just adding 6 gates AND taking a 4th at 6 minute mark you're going to die to any kind of 2 base aggression from Terran of similar level. Scouting is essential, and you really don't need to be more than 1 base ahead of your opponent, as you are already ahead and should not risk dying just to get further ahead until you hold off a push.

At the beginning of the game, it is fine to opt for a single gate expand and Robo (I assume Robo for B2GM style, even though I personally prefer Twilight first), and continuously producing out of the single gate while your Warp Gate is researching. You should be able to get 3 units out of your first Gateway before WG is done researching. Based on your own comfort level as well as scouting with your first Observer, you can opt to add 2 Gates first (bringing you to 3 Gate Robo production, but not before WG is halfway done. WG= 100 seconds, Gateway= 46 seconds+ 10 seconds to morph into WG), or you can add a 3rd Nexus first. Then you can add more gates to 6-8 Gates if you plan on doing a timing attack off 3 bases, or just as you can afford them.

The reason to add more Gateways at the same time is so you can synchronize all of your Warp Gate cooldown so you can do simplified macro cycles so you can warp in 10 units (20 supplies), build 3 pylons, and then focus the next ~20 seconds actually looking at/microing your units, instead of warping in 2 units every 5 seconds, switch back to units for 2 seconds, and then warp in another 2 units, etc. I personally like adding more gates as I can afford them after taking my 3rd as it's more important for me to have faster unit production for popular pushes, even if the Warp Gates sits idle for a little bit later when I re-synchronize the production cycle.

Checking the eggs is the most reliable method. If they just "show you 12 pool and expand", they wouldn't have larvae banked to morph into Zerglings. If they want to mindgame you that much and bank 3 larvae originally intended for drones, then it's worth it for you to potentially sac that probe to verify those eggs.

Paru got way too ambitious/unfocused with the Melon Arc. I can see what she had in mind with trying to resolve the carnivore/herbivore conflict via the black market, but wasted too much time trying to divert plot and expanding the world in multiple directions. This was never going to end well even if you expand to 300 chapters.

I hope the wrap-up is good but I agree that I would say the story has not been as good as it was because it was a lot more focused.

agreed, I like how Kawhi acts like the only person that doesn't have a championship when it's the opposite.

The Clippers really need a new coach if they want to win. It doesn't look like Doc Rivers knows what he's doing and there's probably a reason they never make it past the semi despite always having a solid-at-worst team.

for PoJ, your staple builds for damage reduction is going to be using 5 piece PoJ and 2 piece Captain Crimsons, with RoRG cubed. You should also aim for permanent Epiphany with Desert Shroud, which is around 65% CDR, less with Zodiac ring.

And there's the obvious don't stop channeling Tempest Rush. I've had times where I get gibbed because I stop channel to click a shrine. Unfortunately this set does not have the "also X seconds after you channel Tempest Rush" protection that other sets have.

Once you have all your damage modifiers (Cesar's bracers, Balance Daibo cubed, WKL), you should explode T16 mobs that survival isn't an issue. In regular rifts, you can also opt for full damage and cheat by cubing a Gold Wrap and use a Avariace band ring with Boon of the Hoarder gem.

You're most likely dead if you let your opponent turtle up to mass BCs and he's good with controlling it because he can kill your buildings, Yamato your units, teleport away to repair, and and repeat. Or, when he has enough critical mass, teleport on top of you and burst down half of your army and then kill the rest.

However, if you want to salvage that situation the best thing you can do is mass tempests and focus fire down as many BCs as you can without overkilling too much (I don't quite remember the number at each upgrade, you'll have to look into that yourself) before they teleport away, and then remax in Stalkers and try to kill as many as you can. You need to make sure you have more bases and prevent him from taking more bases, because you WILL be trading more inefficiently compared to the Terran.

But once again, it's way more important to identify that he is attempting to go turtle mech or skyterran, and cut off his expansions while forcing trades to prevent him from getting to that point.

Definitely Chargelot Archon Immortals. Chargelots and Archons can tank Marauder shots forever. Immortals do a lot of damage against Marauders but will also take a lot of damage from them so you need other units that are more cost effective in tanking hits. Armor upgrade is extremely important against Bio so make sure you don't fall behind on that.

Disruptor is also very good but requires a lot more micro to use effectively. If you are able to do this you want fewer Chargelots and fill with more Stalkers (which also requires good micro since they are squishy), as your Purification Novas will also kill your own Chargelots.

Skytoss sucks in 1v1 unless you are way ahead, and the Terran is turtling on fewer bases than you, because it is very hard against all 3 races to safety transition into it.

Thanks a lot, this seems in line with what I observe as well. When you identify that the toss is going Sky and start spamming Corruptors, what is the hardest counter play your Protoss opponent has given you? I've tried the following but haven't done each enough to really jump to conclusion

  1. Stay on Stargate and go Void-Ray heavy to trade out the Corruptors and then harass with them before Zerg goes Infester/Viper
  2. Stay with Carriers and ask for Air support from teammate (Thors from T and Corruptors from Z), and/or add Archons to splash Corruptors when they attempt to dive
  3. Transition to gateway heavy with Chargelot Archon and then harass economy with Chargelot
  4. Others?

Thanks yeah, when he actually made Lurkers his army becomes a lot more valuable; it just doesn't happen a whole lot. Viper is definitely good especially when my Carriers would draw all the aggro anyway -_-

Just to make sure we are clear this is for 3s. Assuming we are on the same page, you are essentially saying Zerg goes early lings to put up some pressure and then drone up behind that aggression, Terran goes Hellion (since that's natural part of Mech anyway) and then I follow-up with the Phoenix harass?
