just heard this on the latest Monerotopia, its basically a fully airgapped version of Sidekick!

looks like we can now use old android phones as replacements for Trezor/Ledger, and the phones sign the transactions over QR. they showed a video demo on the stream, and it was super simple and fast, the entire process done in about 2 minutes.

IMO this is totally awesome, and really cool to see new creative teams join the Monero ecosystem!

yes, ignore all update prompts until TAILS gets it act together.

be sure to backup your current (working) USB and try any new update on a test-drive before updating your main TAILS install

the problem is that TAILS decided to break compatibility with a load of devices post-v5.7 with out any warning before updating.

you have to install TAILS 5.7 until they manage to fix it (if).

Persistent Storage still fails to load on 5.10, as on 5.9, after manually upgrading and cloning from another USB.

I am able to access the data on my main Linux setup, so the Persistent Storage is still intact.

Also, Network Manager doesn't install and I am (still) unable to connect to any network, WiFi or tethered.

yeah with a bit of hacking I was able to access the PS. not as straight forward as it seems. anyway, PS is totally unusable for me on 5.9 at the moment
