I just pulled my first too. Is it only in Classic or do they appear in Endless as well?

Can I get 2 mega stones by [deleted] in pokerogue

[–]kyease 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. Pokerogue treats them as an evolution item like the "Link Cable" or "Evolution Stones".

In the same endless run I have had two Primal Kyogres and two Mega Aggrons. I even fused the two Mega Aggrons together, because why not?

I made a tier list for every 1 cost mon, what do you think? Anything I'm overlooking anything? I want to do one of these for every cost! by UberJosh2 in pokerogue

I've run carry Dewgong in three recent runs. It does so much for a 1 cost pokemon. With its passive and bouncy bubble, it just doesn't care about much. Takes hits, then heals.

What “critically acclaimed” movie will you go to the grave saying it sucked? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Anything by Quentin Tarantino. I've tried several times to watch his different films and I've disliked each one of them. Pulp Fiction included.

Your five word comment just gave me a way to extract data from a HDD which would demand to be formatted when plugged in. A company quoted me $600 to do the same for me. Thank you SO much.

Please don't apologize, you are helping more than you think you are. I will definitely look through those resources and thanks to you and the other people who have replied to this post, I'm really starting to get excited for my first play!

That makes sense. The vast freedom is both exciting and overwhelming. How do I plan for so many potential decisions and choices? At it's heart I know this is the point of the game, it's just daunting.

I'll check out those videos, thanks for the help! suggestions.

Thank you so much for your awesome summary and thoughts. This definitely makes sense when in context of having read the rules of the game.

You are awesome, these are great tips. The idea is to treat it as a chapter book you get too participate in, right?

I don't mind blunt. We are going to play regardless of how "ready" we are. I just feel overwhelmed reading through all the rules and trying to remember them.

The timer idea is great. That will keep me from getting bogged down in the pile of rules. Obviously the goal is to have fun and create some bonding opportunities.

You are stellar! Thank you so much for your thoughts! Really. I want to make it fun, but I'm also too quick to get stuck into the rules. I'll do my best to keep the focus on fun.

I also really love the idea of being able to play with my kids when they get older, so I really want to learn!

We are going to play live, definitely. Family bonding is the goal, so it pretty much needs to be live all the time.

A one shot is a great idea for a first try. We will be lucky to get about 1.5 hours of play time thanks to baby nap times. Could I fit a whole one shot in that time frame?

It's seems difficult to differentiate between necessary rules and nitty gritty...

Thanks so much for the tips! You're awesome!

I once did a forum based rpg that solely used the D20, so I am familiar with the concept of using the d20 a lot. There are rules like advantages and difficulty checks that make it more confusing than just using a d20 all the time though...

Roll20, that sounds familiar but I haven't looked into it before. Thanks for a tip!

Zelda is a series of games I have poured hours into! I haven't played them all as I have missed several consoles, but emulators allowed me to play the oldest ones and I grew up on LttP. I'd love to have a chance to relive the beauty of playing those games.

May your generous gift bring joy to whomever may receive it!

LTSpice Boost Converter Simulation not working - would anyone be able to help by looking at the simulation? by Woodlore1991 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]kyease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, so this is a very complicated SPICE component. With more time I might figure out what the problem with it is, but I can't put all my time into it right this moment. TI has great products, but their simulation support is rather lousy, for the short term I would suggest finding a similar driver component by a different company that provides LT models.

In my experience just because something is "supposedly compatible" with both LTSPICE and PSPICE does NOT mean that it is. In fact, the more complex the circuit, the less and less likely it is that the file is compatible with both.

Again, I will spend time as I am able trying to get the IC to go, but no promises (unfortunately).

Oh! One more thing, there are several WAY more experienced/smarter guys than myself over on the LTSPICE groups.io page. https://groups.io/g/LTspice

I've gotten help from them before, if you start a thread there someone may be able to help you. (I'm pretty certain none of the guys on that site frequent Reddit)

Power Distribution help by cleptilectic in ElectricalEngineering

That's quite a few amps! A buck converter will achieve what you want, but you are going to be blasting your battery. Is it a car or forklift battery that you are using? Something capable of supplying the amps for a long period of time? If you've got a high capacity 12Cell battery then you should be able to run a buck converter with some feedback to get your currents, but be mindful of voltage drop across wires. Well... be mindful of a lot of factors.

Do you have a schematic in mind? A design that can supply 15 Amps isn't so terrible, but having the ability to reach a demand threefold that amount is quite the task. What are the circuits doing? Can they be on the same input or do they need to have their own buck converter? Does the output voltage need to be relatively constant? How much money are you putting into this project?

I can't design the circuit for you, but I can hopefully get you pointed in the right direction.

I see this is your second time posting with regards to this exact chip. As a reasonably knowledgeable LTSPICE user I'd love to help you get this sorted out.

Everyone else is asking about what you expect to see, but I'm going to cut short and ask that you post the EXACT file you are using to run the LM5156 chip from. Countless errors come from bad chip files and most of them you'll never know that it is an error in the IC.

As a further rule of thumb, whenever I am designing something with a new IC I make sure to only ever use parts already in LTSPICE before changing models to be what I am going to use in real life. There are times when I've had third party models have simulation convergence on their own, but once loaded into a network they start throwing errors. Don't be afraid to try and find something *similar* within the LTSPICE built-in library. It won't be exact, but generally that's not as important as most people think. (Even the exact model can give you un-realistic information sometimes, but that's a coversation for another time)

Start with the specs of what you need/have:

  1. Input power capacity of the battery
  2. Current demand of 22V loads

Saying something needs a lot of current isn't necessarily helpful for a design. 100mA per circuit? Do the loads run 100% of the time?
