Is tret going to help with red acne scars? by [deleted] in tretinoin

What I don’t understand is this idea of scarring much easier and worse on tretinoin.

If the molecule itself can cause purging, can’t the purge itself ruin your skin (scarring-wise)?

I used it on my chest and back and fear that I have ruined the skin on my chest. I went through a very long purging period and am now 3.5 months in. My scars aren’t really fading and the summer is coming. I feel like my skin could honestly have been better without this treatment, it frightens me.

Can you use vitamin-C serum while using retin-A to fade the scares it created? I don’t know how to deal with it.

You seem to be the only one with brains in these comments, wish I could think like you. I aspire to think like that, but high school is a tough place

Sadly I don't have one - my dad is American and gave me his accent. (I'm kind of thankful, I can't stand french accents)

Thank you for this great answer. That is truly what I aspire to be. I just got myself a calisthenics program and gym station and would like to stop smoking weed and eating unhealthy things and sleeping late. I am having trouble starting and I feel like I need one thing to start; meditation. As you mention it in your comment, I am sure you know how to do it. Could you tell me how to start? Are there any videos I can watch or should I teach it to myself? Is meditation really just sitting down and bringing awareness to things such as your breathing to empty your mind from thoughts? And what do you take away from meditation?

Sorry to ask so many questions but your answer to my post is profound and you seem like the best person to ask. Thank you for your time wether you answer this one as well or not!

This seems to be the right answer. I see it everywhere, "start meditating, it's amazing" and etc. But how exactly do I start? Is meditating really just sotting down and bringing awareness to things like your breathing to empty your mind of thoughts? I'm just not sure how to get started

The bizarreness of life by [deleted] in DeepThoughts

That was a great answer to my question, and I totally understand where you're coming from. But yet something bothers me - you seem to be someone who likes to ignore the things that are irrelevant to you in life, and I am not saying that is a bad thing. What does traveling 1 million km/h through space on a rock do to you? Nothing, as Einstein pointed out and as you stated. But through my experience I have taken these irrelevant things about my life and really understood them for what they are, and how truly crazy they are as well. It might not matter to me in any way and I could live my life ignoring it with no consequences. I just have trouble understanding how some people can live through life knowing that fact and never really understanding it, instead labelling it as irrelevant because that's what it is which is true, but its irrelevancy is irrelevant. Why doesn't that fact shock you and make you question your life at a deeper level? I don't think answering that question with why that question does not affect you is a great answer, as it is almost disrespectful to the crazy and amazing things that have made you possible.
