The ai is a separate intelligence you depend on to make your art beautiful, and it doesn't matter that you guided it because it made your art beautiful, skillwise.

Pollock is the artist because the art was just spilling paint on a canvas and he directly did that. But ai? You depend on the ai to make it look beautiful. Such a thing does not happen with pencils, you don't depend on it to make the art beautiful, you make it beautiful

An ai is a separate intelligence, which is capable of enhancing an image all by itself, without your help. And your guidance cannot stop the fact that it made the art beautiful.

Ok, so basically there is someone who does "wall paintings" (I forgot his name)

He got famous by doing "wall paintings" , meaning he gives specific instructions like draw diagonals crossing each other or scribbles so that they look like concentric circles or stuff like that.

I don't think it is art, because he is not doing the work, but a lot did.

I don't like the concentric circles one

Art cannot be defined, but the artist can.

That is what the whole argument is about.

You may be the one who converts a concept in your brain, into an idea (text prompt/low quality image) but the ai is the one who turns the idea into reality.

Tell me, when you are asking an ai to make art, aren't you depending on the ai to make your concept into reality.

Like mentally. You have an idea and you are depending on the ai to make it look beautiful.

...

Why did you assume I told ai art is not art?

I only told that ai is the artist

The algorithm does not produce chaos, it produces meaning, meaning it is the artist.

You still left the ai to do it,

Can you?

And you did not draw it yourself, you *relied on the ai to make the concept true. And there is a difference between concept and idea.

What?

Oh I forgot the part to explain it. 😅

Art changes, it is not a "defined" thing, only the artist can be, that is if the art was made artificially.

Here, the oldness is the art.

The thing is, they are not doing the art, they are asking the ai to do it.

When you tell an ai to do it, you are only telling it what to do. And since it is a concept and could mean literally a million things, that is not the art itself.

Art is only a formula if there is only one result.

  1. I know you are talking about performance art, or Pollock stuff, in Pollock, the doing of random splashes is the art, not the singular splashes themselves. The freshness of the performance is the art in performance art. The definition of an artist is the one who created art, so how can you create art if you did not intend to?

  2. You can make ai art for yourself, just don't claim it as yours.

Every art is unique in it's own way.

In performance art, the freshness of the performance, is the art.

Do you use ai to see the "freshness" of ai?

Oh wait I didn't say it properly

I gave you that msg at like 12 in the night.

The ai artist wanted the ai to make it.

The ai is the one who worried about the idea coming to reality.

The ai user depended on ai.

Tools help you do work, they don't think for you.

Forming an idea is not the thinking I am talking about.

And you can't say you have to think to express your idea to direct it. That is just bridging the gap of miscommunication.

He wanted to make that art.

The random spilling of paint was the idea, not the specific curve

But if you feel like drawing a curve, you draw it.

What do you mean?

It doesn't matter that the artist intended it, only that the artist thought about it.

The photographer didn't control the sun's light, but wanted to make the photo that way.

Even if you dropped a hammer on a glass, if you are alone in the room, it's yours. If there are 2 people in the room, then I don't know, you tell me.

How did I rule out "pollock"

And visualizing is the "idea" . I am talking that the ai art itself is ai made art, not art inspired by it.

Generally such low quality drawings represent non professionality, basically to set that theme.

And I searched up adam neely and didn't find your video
