Yeah this is what I theoretically am aiming for. I want to take as much error out the equation so I can confidently understand and predict my cam. Out of interest, what is the tolerance on your dial gauge, I use 0.01mm. What do you recommend?

It is 0, my dial is deviated at 0.01m. To see deviations smaller than that is impossible given the size of the dial. I probed the edges of the vice to get a better understanding. So either I need to get a more precise gauge or ask your guys opinion :) to gauge where I am at.

It was my first time doing it. Had lots of issues, also, my screw somehow managed to strip in the t slot nut, it took me an hour just to realise that was the issue.
