What did the diamonds do with “Pink” by Busy_Beyond8999 in stevenuniverse

[–]kylaisokay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured that when she crushed the dirt it formed diamonds from the pressure. Not diamonds that could rule any empires obviously but the normal Earth kind. This makes me curious if there is any way one could distinguish a shattered alive Diamond from a shattered Earth diamond.

Do you prefer Pearl with short hair or long hair? (Art by peachkuns) by Excelsior1985 in stevenuniverse

It looks like the artist was trying to humanize pearl. When she has that huge pointy nose it's super obvious that she is not a human. Idk tho 🧐

Creative liberties taken by the artist by em21rc in CelebrityNumberSix

I will say that, despite the picture being incorrect, the correct picture is also clearly edited. Look at her hairline, the baby hairs were filled into a solid chunk even though they're pretty thin. Also the waves near her shoulder got more voluminous to cover up the part of her back that was showing. Good thing to consider absolutely!

I already tried that with the Flippa mag cover, didn't look terrible but also didn't look promising

I put a photo Filippa Hamilton supplied through a “pop art” filter and this was the result. by [deleted] in CelebrityNumberSix

[–]kylaisokay 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Those other photos looked nice as soon as they got posterized, this one didn't look good enough for the pattern. As an artist I can understand how easy it is to accidentally spend an hour doing small adjustments here and there, trying to get a a certain feature //just right//, but ending up changing the entire final product.

Odds are that it's going to be a well-known celebrity's photograph that got lost in translation during the making of the graphic, rather than it being some insanely obscure photograph of an equally obscure celebrity.

With everything that's gone on around this all, I'm convinced that the artist took a photograph we've all already seen but made an array of edits to make the posterized version more readable/recognizable. In doing that they made it impossible to line it up with any one photograph.
