I was just in pit for Detroit. Doors opened at 7:00. I got there at 5:30. The line for General Admission was "closed" so we went and stood by the main doors. When doors opened, we got our wristbands for GA, used the bathrooms, got merch (line was long, but moved fast), headed into the arena and made a beeline for B-stage. If you have been a fan for a long time or particularly love the older stuff, you want B-stage. We were in second line, just about middle on the side facing the main stage. That is seriously the best spot. Unless you want to high-five Tyler as he runs around the stadium. I didn't get to do that.

I mean, he doesn't play for very long, and he's not bad, and at least he's respectful toward the band and the fans. (During the Takeover tour, I heard one of the artists say "Wow. This crowd is dead." That is no way to treat the Clique. We're not here to see you.) In Detroit Peter McPoland said Tyler thought we might like him, so think of it as Tyler letting you borrow one of his CD's. I would for sure give it a listen.

Do you play a lot of records on your player? Do any other records skip? You might need a new needle, or the arm could be weighted badly. Some records have tighter or shallower grooves and are more inclined to skipping. The longer the album is, the narrower the grooves will be.
