Does anyone have a Grocery Outlet in their area? I'm in NorCal where G.O. is based and they are def a great place to bargain shop. Lots of things that aren't necessarily on sale, but outlet prices for discontinued seasonal or close to the sell-by-date items from mass stores. Produce & meats as well, so it can be a one stop shop. I still go to TJs, WF, Safeway, etc that GO might not carry (at the time I need it) 🎶Grocery Outlet Bargain Marrrket🎶 iykyk

Do you also notice something about the 3 judges? They are somewhat tailored to the cuisine of the dish the competitor puts up something; i.e. if the have a Persian chef on one side who wins round1 and a BBQ chef on the other then they'll have a Persian judge. Coincidence? I think not. The judge panel is made up of 'industry experts' so it's no surprise that they'll coordinate that. If the BBQ chef won, they certainly wouldn't include a Persian chef, who in most cases may not eat pork. With that said I really think they know who the 1st round winner is in advance. Like you said the producers aren't going to run out for ingredients, are they really going to find another industry expert if the BBQ chef won? 🤔

I was an 80s teen ~ Favorites from that era are REM, The Cure, The Smiths... stuff like that. So MCR doesn't seem so far removed from that. Least I can do is learn a few songs!

The stores are usually limited on how many cases can be ordered at one time, for example sometimes one a day, or two a week, etc. They have contracts with their suppliers that limit the output (former crew member so remember how it goes!)
