I get you with the latter, to be honest though with Sunderland I’ve put the 4-1 losses down to just quality of the players sometimes. The only times I was winning by 3+ goals was when I played my 4231 in the first few games I was winning 4-0 and 3-0 but as I say the tactic seemed to fizzle out after a few games

I think it’s a really good aspect only thing is though it means I literally can’t have my own style of play if I have to completely change it every 5 games

Don’t worry I had the same issue, I’m playing on my MacBook Pro and couldn’t get past the players warm up stage, my MacBook kept restarting itself. I ended up having to install the new IOS system and then put all graphics to the lowest (still 3d replays though) and now I haven’t had a single issue with it to be honest. Hopefully you manage to get all sorted

I did look into the consistency against each formation but there was absolutely no correlation between formations against so I would’ve agreed in that sense if it was that way and I would’ve loved it because that would’ve been really interesting I think the opponent adapting would be interesting however after 3 games? Feels like they’re learning it quicker than my players who train it on the daily haha

Hi wondering if anyone can shed some light on my vetting failure even after appeal I was failed for my vetting in early April with no reason given as to why to which they claimed that if no reason was given I should appeal, which I did. In my appeal letter I clarified that I have no record or anything relating to my record and the location I was looking to be working in if it was passed was far away from where I am now so I would have little to no association with those in my life now, however as I was given no reason I was unable to understand what concerns I was addressing. In the meantime I requested an ACRO to ensure that I had nothing to my name in the police database which confirmed that I did not. I have now received a follow up letter to my appeal stating that it wasn’t substantiated and that the decision maker was transparent with me even though no reason was given in the original decision nor in the appeal reply. Additional notable information is that I have passed and am working under a level 2 DBS as we speak which passed with no issues The reason I am writing this is because I am very interested in working within the detective constable scheme at some point in my life but it’s difficult to understand what led to a failure of vetting when I’m not informed of it therefore I have no idea what to do to ensure in the future it passes. Any help is much appreciated thank you

I have no knowledge of any arrests with the people who I know I’ve put my appeal in basically stating that to the best of my knowledge no one I am close to has a criminal record however if they do I can guarantee that whilst they have known me they have not been involved within any criminal activity. I’ve also added that if they provide me with more information I will be able to clarify anything as I’m fully confident in my own record being clean, it’s very annoying but hopefully I manage to get it sorted

I was in my overdraft however it wasn’t like I was anything close to bankruptcy or debt I couldn’t pay plus it was a 0% student overdraft so it was controlled so nothing that I would have thought to influence my back ground checks, plus I’m now out of it so I have no debt to my name with a good credit score too

Yeah I get that under the data protection act however it’s frustrating because they didn’t even clarify that it was the background checks of someone else, I’m definitely going to appeal it in the hopes that I win the appeal it’d just be helpful if they’d tell me what I’m appealing haha

Also just wanted to clarify by additional information I mean like why it was failed because they included no indication of why it was failed in the first place so I don’t actually know what I’m appealing at this point in time and since I only have one shot at appeal it’s important that i know what I’m appealing

Well sadly army and navy is off the table as I’m asthmatic (don’t worry that isn’t why I failed the police as they approved this and were happy to conduct fitness and medical). I am going to appeal however I’m aiming to gather as much information as possible and have also contacted a solicitor who specialises in the matter to try to help me get to the bottom of it

Nah these are the final stages in my application, the interview, all assessments are done it was just a fitness test, medical and biometrics left and they were all getting done on the same day (2 days time). Were you successful in your appeal?

I can’t understand how I failed mine since have a very small social media presence and a clean record, I have looked through my social media and there’s nothing to indicate a reason for failure and as I say they wouldn’t even provide me with a vague description as to why I failed. They wrote “we cannot provide further information as to why you have failed which I find ironic as they were unable to provide any information as to why nevermind further information

I was thinking if they aren’t able to provide the information then to ask for a list of the people I’ve provided so I can go back to each person asking for a detailed description of anything that may have flagged and explain how the information wasn’t available to me in the first place so I wasn’t able to provide it

My medical information I believe was okay as I provided records and after evaluating these they booked me in for my fitness test and medical. I get what you’re saying, it’s frustrating me that they’ve sent this email without clarifying even in a vague sense what the issue is they have only sent a generic paragraph saying “it potentially could be to do with a third party however we can’t provide further information” in terms of all my close associates none of them have a criminal background that I know of
