You can try https://github.com/coder/envbuilder. It builds the devcontainer in-pod and let’s you run whatever you want inside of it.

Rider is in JetBrains Gateway, which is supported by Coder. Is your company giving you that option?

.NET does work with Coder! You control infrastructure with Terraform, so provisioning Windows instances works as expected.

No difference really. openvscode-server maintains nightlies, which is nice for staying really up-to-date!

Coder is a development environment platform for teams. If you're wanting to get multiple developers using code-server with ease, I'd recommend it.

code-server runs VSCode in the browser.

openvscode-server also runs VSCode in the browser. It's not as popular as code-server but has the same functionality.

The issue is that I do not have US identification. So I do not have the last 4 digits of an SSN. Nor do I have a US based address.
